$15 – 20/hr
Make snacks and lunch for following day. Tidying up kitchen after snacks and help kids unload backpacks. Pick-up or Drop-off: Must be willing to drive children to practices, church activities, occasionally pick up from school activities.
Has Own Car: Prefer to have own car, but not required; must have auto insurance & valid license and good driving record. Homework help: Assist children with homework (typically not much).
Schedule Details: Hours and days can be flexible, but need at least a commitment of 3 days per week, typically 3 pm-6 pm/7 p.m. depending on after-school practices.
About the child(ren): We have four children, but only 2 are in elementary school right now- a 4th grade daughter and a 1st grade son. The younger children attend a full-day pre-kindergarten program and a daycare.
My husband and I both work full-time and travel for work, so we need someone to meet our elementary school children after school (they ride the bus home) at our home, help them with snacks/homework/chores, and then be able to drive them to their activities in the Arvada area (soccer, faith formation, robotics, etc.) and depending on the day, stay at the activity and bring them home.
This role would preferably continue into a full-time summer nanny position and then resume part-time hours in the fall when school is in session.
Kids are well-behaved and respectful, but like to have fun! We can be flexible on hours/days and with vacations, etc. if we find the right nanny.
