Nowadays, a parent truly needs to research their childcare provider's background: valid social security number, no felonies, great driving record, etc...and one truly needs fair rates. I provide BOTH and MORE! :) I provide care for children Full-Time, Part-Time, After School and/or During School Breaks. DAILY RATES: Full-Time: $25 After School (2:30pm up to 7pm): $15 * Half off each additional sibling. * No, I don't charge for days absent. * If your child is sick, please keep them. I currently am accepting children ages 3 and up. ABOUT ME: I'm a 31-year-old who LOVES kids and strives to have a Christ-centered life. I'm the oldest of four kids and come from a stable, loving background. I've been happily married for 9.5 years and am a stay-at-home mother of 2 sweet kids. (My daughter is almost 6 years old. My son is almost 3 years old.) I have a 2003 bachelor's degree in Visual Communication from Herron School of Art, but after having kids, my priorities changed to all-children-all-the-time. This means I am 100% DONE with schooling and have NO OTHER JOBS but to watch, nurture and encourage your children. I'm VERY friendly, down-to-earth, creative, hands-on and cautious, but best of all children really seem to like me. I'm an experienced care-giver (about 10 years worth) and can provide great references, including my minister, whose young kids I babysat for 3 years. Our safe, four-acre, pet-free/smoke-free home is located around State Rd 9 & 100 South (Davis Rd) on a quiet, non-through street. We have a large playroom, an over-abundance of educational/age appropriate toys/games, and even a huge pirate ship playhouse/swing set in the backyard...and chicken coop, duck coop, and sandbox. Super fun :) All meals, snacks, and drinks are provided. Plus, I send texts and pics throughout the day so you can see your child, be reassured, and stay informed. I thank you for your consideration, would love to answer any questions that you have and am very excited to see who God brings my way!

I have been providing loving, caring day care for 17 years at this time. My husband and I have five children in ages from 34 to 14. When we had our older ones, I stayed at home to provide day care and be with our children. When we decided to start our family over again 18 years ago, I knew I wanted to do the same thing. Kids are such a special gift from God. We feel when the kids are here they are at their second home. This is a good thing because I probably cared for most of them through the week more of their waking hours while their parents are at work. We have lots of learning and fun. Even after 17 years it is a joy to know that I will be getting up and greeting those smiling faces at my door each morning. When some of the older children I have cared for come by to visit and say they still think of the years they were here and want to still come by and visit and see how we are doing I feel we must be doing something right. I have had infants and up in my care along with special needs children over the last 17 years. I couldn't imagine my life any other way. It is such a fulfilling job for me. I can assure you your child will get 110% from me caring for them or more. Before I started doing childcare again I worked for a Fortune 500 Company. When I was hired there I was an accounts payable administrator. I also had to fill in answering a multi-line switchboard. After being there one year I was ask to become the supervisor of the accounts payable department. Doing this meant I had to ensure that the department ran smoothly on a daily basis, deal with any issues or problems, talk with vendors about their payments or invoice discrepancies. I supervise eight employees, do month and year end close outs. Also I do payroll for my employees. This meant you certainly had to be able to multi-task. If I can be of help caring for your child or children please feel free to contact me. You are welcome to come see where I do childcare. Also it would give you the opportunity to meet myself and my family. Thank you. Sincerely, Terri

This program offers a gentle and strong foundation in preparation for preschool. Focusing on nurturing each child physically, emotionally, and mentally. Encouraging their natural wisdom and curiosity. This program utilizes a Play-Based Expressive Arts Curriculum including: Art, Music, Creative Dance, Yoga, Poetry and Dramatic Storytelling and learning through Nature. The four pillars of this program are Safety, Love, Respectful Relationships and Meaningful Education. In a safe, loving environment, we pay attention and connect with the peaceful place inside as a center point for relating and being in the world. This centered approach nurtures the beginnings of social development. We practice and talk about gentle hands, creating hands, celebrating hands and touch our hearts and say good morning as we begin each class. Beginning to explore the balance between internal and external relating. The curriculum provides a Meaningful Education by providing an ample amount of movement throughout the program which matches the natural exploration of toddlers. The curriculum also aligns with the sensorimotor and pre-operational stage of cognitive development for this age. Each class offers visual, auditory, verbal and tactile symbols, ideas and choices of play to engage all learning styles. Time engaged in the expressive arts and the natural world stimulate a multi-sensory environment for learning and discovery. Engaged play supports gross motor and fine motor skills. Throughout the class props, tools, art materials, natural elements, toys and obstacle courses are introduced for manipulation and practice of locomotive and nonlocomotor skills encouraging coordination and problem solving. Circle dances and simple games like red light/green light and squirrel in the tree are introduced to support social development in a fun ways. Time, encouragement, as well as simple structures invite participants to be the storyteller, the dancer, the artist, the poet, the naturalist and the musician as well as the audience, the listener and the steward. The curriculum also focuses on supporting sensory integration of all the learning that takes place. Each class offers the BrainDance which is a mind-body neuroexcercise program that focuses on balancing the nervous system. Pauses for processing information and rest times are encouraged and supported. In our fast paced world, it is important to learn from an early age how to integrate all the stimulation and information around us. Digging in dirt in the backyard during outside time is one way that brings calm as we listen to nature sounds around us. We will explore other techniques and tools that work well. For example, during rest time after a light sensory scarf wave, we place our hands on our bellies as the wave of our breathe rises and falls.
