I began babysitting my nephews when I was about 12. It always came very natural to me- I'm a born caregiver! I went on to babysit other children via newspaper ads & by word of mouth, for several years. Some time after that, I got a job at a daycare center. I started out as a van driver, lunch server, and fill-in help in many of the classrooms. Soon, I was told that I was qualified to be a teacher. I was placed in one of the Infant rooms. And I worked in that room for the next 23 years. I guess you could say that I'm very loyal & very dedicated. I absolutely loved it! I even began to offer to babysit for some of the families who brought their children there, & continued with them for several years. In 2012, I decided to open a daycare in my home. I enjoy my job! It's a labor of love for me. Several references are available, upon request. I would love to care for your little one! I'm dependable, trustworthy, and because my daycare is small (mostly 3 or 4 at a time) there will be plenty of TLC & personal attention for your child. I provide breakfast, lunch, and 2 snacks. We have a weekly theme and lesson plan that includes art, music, fine & gross motor activities, social studies, and science. This is a safe, loving environment for your little ones to learn and grow!

I am a SAHM, and I am looking to begin running a daycare out of my home. I have a 7 year old daughter and a 4 year old son. I am currently working towards becoming state certified. I have an AA in English, and am currently studying online to receive my BS in Marketing. My biggest hobby is writing, and I have a few published pieces. I am willing to babysit any time needed days, nights, weekends. Anytime! My husband works night shifts, and I have worked on and off myself; therefore, I understand how difficult it can be when you do not work a typical 9-5, M-F job. Date night babysitting is welcomed. I am also able to do before and after school for Renfro and Maryville. My daughter rides the transfer bus, which stops at Renfro and takes her to Maryville. If you needed, we could work it out so your child could ride the bus to Renfro or Maryville. I have a big backyard, and live just down the street from Glidden Park in a really nice neighborhood. Keep in mind we do have a new puppy. Although young, she is very sweet, and kids love her. My husband just recently finished his time in the Army, and I worked a majority of the time that he was in the service. My kids went to to a few different daycares during that time. As a result, I completely understand what makes quality childcare, and I plan to implement my knowledge in my own daycare. There will be a lot of activities, learning, and fun throughout the day. Now the really important question....fees....I charge $30 a full day (6-10 hrs) $20 for half a day (less than 6 hrs) There will be a fee to help cover the costs for crafts, which is a one time fee of $20. (If your child is under 2 this is waived) Parent nights out are $25 for 5 hrs or $55 for the whole night. I have been babysitting since I was 16, and am able to supply references if you would like. I hope to see you soon! :)
