Philosophy-Prince & Princess Child Care Home and Preschool is designed to meet each the different needs of infants, toddlers, preschoolers and older children. Each day the emotional, spiritual, cognitive, language, social, physical and creative needs are met with the understanding that each one is a unique individual. I LOVE babies, children and their developmental stages. I enjoy caring, teaching, loving and growing with them. We are a Christian home. In addition to our academic curriculum, children learn the basic Biblical principals of kindness, compassion, truthfulness, forgiveness and love. Instead of a formal classroom-we provide lots of Tender Loving Care mixed with learning. I specialize in getting to know your child and meeting their individual needs. Opportunities abound for nurturing, exploring, learning concepts to problem solve, create, social emotional skills with many hands-on experiences. Program-Provided is a combination of a loving family home mixed with infant, toddler and pre-school activities as age appropriate. Infants enjoy our daily routine and activities while being nurtured, loved and cared for. They are the youngest members of our "school family" and enjoy the extra TLC from all. Infants are included and cared for as well as those of the toddlers and preschool age. Each day is designed for the children to come and learn and grow with us until they go to Kindergarten. There is plenty of free play along with our daily lessons and activities. Unless a child is diagnosed with special needs and needs to be in a specific school setting, children attend preschool here. This home welcomes children up to age 12 who need care when their school is closed and in the summer. We offer special activities for a school age child as well. Curriculum-Our curriculum is an outstanding combination of Creative Curriculum for Family Child Care and Preschool, activities from Mother Goose Times, Christian based lessons and Weekly Reader. Ages 3-5 are taught within and exceed the guidelines of the Illinois Early Learning Standards. This sets the appropriate stage for kindergarten readiness. Discipline-Each child from infancy on is taught Conscious Discipline-a social emotional intelligence program. The skills are Composure, Assertiveness, Positive Intent, Encouragement, Empathy, Choices and Consequences. Infants are held and taught breathing calming techniques.

Early Enrichment Home Daycare offers care for children aged four weeks to five years. The daycare setting is located on the main floor of the house, with two specialized rooms designated to the daycare. The infant room has plenty of floor space, an array of developmentally appropriate toys, and a warm and colorful setting. The second room is a free play space for children aged 3 yrs+ with a host of fun activities, toys, and games. The large garden provides a great space for warm weather play, including a climbing frame with a slide! In the colder months there will be physical activities held in the living room's empty space to help burn that extra energy through song and dance, child yoga, and more. The daycare is run as a kindergarten readiness program, with a daily schedule filled with activities ranging from arts and crafts, reading time, circle time, and academic rotation circles. No child is left out of these activities as there is something in every time slot for every age and developmental level. The goal of EE-HD is to ensure that every child is physically, academically, socially, and emotionally equipped to succeed in kindergarten when they leave our care. To this end we will only accept a total of six children at any given time, and an assistant will be hired once we reach four children. License number is pending. A little about me: I have an associates degree in early childhood education and development and have almost seven years of experience working as a nanny and later as an assistant teacher in a private preschool. Whilst working on my BA degree in education I realized my passion lay with educating at the pre-k level and chose to put my BA on hold whilst I open my own pre-k/daycare. I have no children of my own at this time, just a desire and passion for the field. Please contact me to arrange a visit and to view an application packet.

Tiny Love Daycare

Tiny Love Daycare is a small in home daycare located on Springfield's south side. We care for children and infants ages birth through five years old. Days and hours of operation are Monday through Friday 7:30 AM through 5:00 PM. We keep our child to provider ratios low (5 to 1), and our age rages close to better care for your child(ren). We strive to have your child(ren) feel at home while having fun and learning in a safe, fun, and structured environment. We are currently in the processes of becoming a licensed home daycare center. I have over ten years of experience in the childcare field, mainly working with infants and preschoolers. I have worked for many well known schools and organizations. I also have schooling in early childhood education and am in the process of completing all the classes required for licensing. We operate out of our home so we do not have that "center" feel. Our home is located on a dead end road and is around 1,200 square feet with a large fenced yard. We have our common living areas with separate areas for nap time or quite time. We follow a schedule daily. Our schedule includes meals and snack times, craft time, sensory play, outdoors play, nap time or quite time, free play, structured play, and curriculum.

I live in the Rochester area and I am a married mother of 2 beautiful children. I have a son who is 6 and a 1 year old daughter. I am now a Home Daycare Provider so I can spend more time with my children as well as give other parents the security to know that their children are being cared for in the best way possible within a loving and caring home. We have a dog who is an Olde English bulldog and she is very sweet. I will provide a well rounded experience using both learning and play for your child so their minds are stimulated throughout the day. I participate in a food program so nutritious meals and snacks will be provided as well. I am available to provide care Monday through Friday during the daytime hours. Hours and rates will be discussed upon request. I am looking forward to hearing from you.
