I began babysitting my nephews when I was about 12. It always came very natural to me- I'm a born caregiver!
I went on to babysit other children via newspaper ads & by word of mouth, for several years. Some time after that, I got a job at a daycare center. I started out as a van driver, lunch server, and fill-in help in many of the classrooms. Soon, I was told that I was qualified to be a teacher. I was placed in one of the Infant rooms. And I worked in that room for the next 23 years. I guess you could say that I'm very loyal & very dedicated. I absolutely loved it!
I even began to offer to babysit for some of the families who brought their children there, & continued with them for several years.
In 2012, I decided to open a daycare in my home. I enjoy my job! It's a labor of love for me.
Several references are available, upon request. I would love to care for your little one! I'm dependable, trustworthy, and because my daycare is small (mostly 3 or 4 at a time) there will be plenty of TLC & personal attention for your child. I provide breakfast, lunch, and 2 snacks. We have a weekly theme and lesson plan that includes art, music, fine & gross motor activities, social studies, and science. This is a safe, loving environment for your little ones to learn and grow!
