I am a licensed in home daycare. I have a room in my house set aside for the daycare full of lots of developmental toys and games to keep the kids entertained. I am big on healthy eating, and stick to as many organic foods (all organic milk, grass fed beef) as I can find. We do few sweets or boxed foods, and try to stick to fresh produce and homemade foods when possible! I have a large backyard for the kids to spend lots of time running, digging, and playing in. We also provide preschool curriculum from ages 3 years old and up, with kids 18 months old and up participating in our crafts and theme activities. I love spending my days with kids, and strive to make this their home away from home. I am a Christian woman and though we don't do any Christian curriculum at this time, I do treat each of the kids as the treasures that God sees them as and expect any person I employ to do the same!

I currently care for a 10 month old and a 14 month old. I'm looking for one more child that needs part time care on Tuesdays and Thursdays to be a part of "our family" in our kid friendly, clean, safe, spacious home. We have a cheerful inviting playroom and a big fenced in grassy backyard. Fun learning and story times are planned and weekly field trip outings are taken either on foot to local parks or driving to fun kid hot spots. What sets me apart from other in-home childcare centers is that I don't consider it to be a "daycare" primarily for two reasons. I do not have more than 3 children at a time. This allows me to give each child more one-on-one attention and also allows me to go on outings with them. The second reason being is when you walk into our house, it feels like a home, not like a typical noisy daycare with swarms of children. One of my greatest assets as a childcare provider is that I am a mom. Being a mom gives me the best childcare experience there is with an instinctual quality that mothers possess. My husband and I have 3 amazing school aged children. They are in school all day and so will not be present for most of my working hours.

In-Home daycare
Preschool
As a preschool teacher and mother of two, I was presented with a hard choice of either going back to work full-time or to stay home with my children. I decided to do both. My decision to structure a full-time daycare out of my home transformed my living space into a fully functioning learning center focused on cerebral and physical interaction. Morning times are for preschool learning with a play and literacy-based curriculum. After napping and resting time, begins an afternoon of free play (inside and outside) - story time and music exploration are incorporated into this period as well. We're confident your child will enjoy their home away from home as they gain the skills needed for school and develop new relationships all while being cared for in a positive nurturing environment. We invite you to read through our online material, then contact us to learn about what results you as a parent can hope to expect from our Adventures In Learning [AIL] program.

With current events in mind, the importance of following protocol is priority at my daycare. I love kids and do my best to make them feel the daycare as their home. I spend most of my time with kids on puzzles, books, art, and singing. I provide home made food and plenty of fruits and vegetables. It is my pleasure to have your life treasures in my daycare. To ensure the best care, I make sure the little ones are always provided with the highest quality environment and treatment. If a child's home feels like a stressful environment due to current circumstances, my home daycare ensures the warmth, care, and comfort that any child deserves. This means proper handling of food, toys, and pampering as well as regular wiping of all surfaces and items, allowing children to explore and be their carefree and joyful selves without any worry. My daycare is the perfect environment for parents who want their kids to feel safe and happy at all times, allowing for happy and healthy development of their little ones.

What is purposeful play? Play is something every human understands, but a term that is hard to define. Play is a quality of intensity and joy in an activity. Play transforms the everyday into the extraordinary. Play enhances and heightens an experience, setting it into the mind and making it a part of us. This is the quality that makes play most fascinating. Play is a form of learning for children as well as adults that is built in to the structure of our DNA. At Small Faces we believe that play is the most important way children interact with their environment and create knowledge. The staff of Small Faces is charged with facilitating, participating in, observing, documenting and reflecting on play. The presence of trained staff gives play an explicit purpose whose goal is to encourage the Social-Emotional, Physical, Creative and Cognitive development of the children in our care. As a facilitator and participant in play, staff at Small Faces design rich environments and engage in activities with children, guiding and encouraging play without controlling it. The staff of Small Faces observes, documents and reflects upon children at play to better plan and design future elements of curriculum for both individuals and groups. Part of each day at Small Faces is dedicated to unstructured play. While the importance of structured play is easily recognized, we believe that unstructured play is essential to the development of young children. A study by the American Academy of Pediatrics, “The Importance of Play in Promoting Healthy Child Development and Maintaining Strong Parent- Child Bonds” (Ginsburg, 2006) states: “free and unstructured play is healthy and – in fact – essential for helping children reach important social, emotional, and cognitive developmental milestones as well as helping them manage stress and become resilient.”

Care Member says "Our family has been enrolled in Small Faces for years and we cannot recommend this school enough! Our kids have attended the preschool program and are...

Celeste's Childcare is a warm loving home daycare for infants through preschool age. Research shows children learn best while they are actively engaged in activities they are interested in. This is why we are committed to the emergent literacy curriculum focusing on the natural development of reading and writing skills through activity and play. We talk to, listen to, and encourage conversation through role modeling and we help children to use their communication skills to work out their own problems with positive guidance to give them confidence and the opportunity to be successful. We offer the perfect place for your little one to start their journey of life as an infant and continue to challenge and encourage new discoveries through preschool age. I have over 20 years experience working with children and still love to watch them learn and discover the wonders of living life. My name is Anny and I am a licensed early childhood/ early learning provider and recently finished my bachelor's in Early childhood education. I am a mother of two beautiful children, ages 14 and 11 years old, and they are full-time school-going kids. I live in a very convenient location in Bothell near Woodinville high school in the morning star community. I provide after-school care. My philosophy of child care is for the parents who work full-time jobs and looking for a safe, loving, and interesting environment for their kids as well as develop basic learning skills in terms of sensory, cognitive, social, emotional, and language skills. I follow Reggio Emilia's learning approach. I take ages 1 and up. Hours of operation are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, five days a week. I provide full week, half week, full-day, half-day, after school, and drop-in care. My daycare has a very nice secure backyard for the kids to play and explore nature. I personally am a nature lover so I prefer children to learn about environment, birds, trees, and gardening and I believe if we teach children to love nature they grow up to be kind and loving. I am a very good book reader for little children and they enjoy the way I read books to them. I do different creative crafts with the kids where their involvement is appreciated. I am also bilingual and I can speak Urdu, Hindi, and English very well. Full-time kids are provided with home-cooked meals and snacks, breakfast not included( Covid policies applied)

ABC Learning Center is a Childcare, Pre-School and Pre K readiness program offering affordable child care services. Our Learning Center programs are guided by educational professionals in a nurturing environment. We use a hands-on approach to learning that involves the child in a rich and diverse group of activities. Our child care center accommodates working parents and is a family based center child care. Meaning everyone here is family and our centers environment gives children the feeling of family, education and safety. Infant: Our curriculum is developed to work with each infant individually on each skill set, at their pace, to encourage continued growth and development. We will begin transitioning your infant to our Toddler program at 11 months. When we have reached that time, we will notify you with a transition letter, which will include the details of how our transition will work, to make the transition for both you and your infant enjoyable and successful. Toddler: At our center, we strongly encourage the children to learn independent skills, but we are always there to lend a helping hand. Development of crucial skills such as zipping up their jacket, putting on their shoes, and washing their hands are practiced daily. Each child is different, but we typically begin the potty training process anywhere between 18-24 months and we ask that parent supply extra underwear and cloths. We always keep you updated on your child's progress, and try to build the best communication between the parent and teacher. Preschool/PreK: We continue to work on recognizing letters, numbers, shapes, and colors, however we no longer review them alphabetically or numerically, we now recognize them by site. We will be able to identify shapes, count from 1 to 20, compare and classify objects. We will work both independently and in group activities. Social and emotional growth is amazing as they prepare to move on to their next school experience. We continue to offer Learning Center experience and our teacher directive curriculum becomes more structured, to allow projects that can extend over days. With teacher directive projects, the curriculum challenges the students to find answers, problem solve and use the learning centers to continue with hands on experiences in areas of literacy, math and science. School Age: Our School Age Program is an extension of our other program descriptions. We continue to offer Learning Center opportunities, for the School Agers.
