New, larger location opening Summer 2022! Our licensed center will be play-based, and Montessori, Reggio-Emelia and Waldorf inspired. Offering full and part time care for children 6 weeks through 5 years old. Accepting applications now!

The Treehouse:
2.5-5 years old
Open 7:00am-5:30 pm, parents choose which 4 hour block of time they want, 1 to 5 days per week.
We are so excited to share our unique story with you! As toddlers, we met at a home daycare on Mercer Island. We instantly became best friends and spent our childhood days playing daycare and school with dolls as our students! By the age of 3, we planned to become future daycare ladies.
After growing up on Mercer Island, managing our own babysitting business, graduating from MIHS, joining the same sorority at Washington State University, and graduating with degrees in Early Childhood Education, here we are as Daycare Ladies! Our love for children has only grown over the years.
The two of us had such a wonderful experience growing up in a nurturing play-based environment; we only hope to create the same impact on your child by being their home away from home! We are passionate about providing a caring and compassionate environment for your child to learn and grow.
We believe in learning through play and experiences. At The Growing Tree, children are encouraged to play, create, and imagine. We have designed a curriculum in which children will learn through exploration, socialization, and imagination.

I love The Treehouse and can't say enough good things about it! My 2.5 year old son has been here since it opened earlier this month. When I drop him off he's excited to go and in the span of only a couple of weeks he's already started talking more and is playing even better with other kids than before.
I'm new to the area and while doing research for our move up to WA I came across The Treehouse's website. I made an appointment to meet with Jessi and Alli at their other place (The Growing Tree) before The Treehouse was open to get a sense of their style and how they run things. I was immediately impressed- I loved the space, their organization and structure and their general attitude towards childcare and learning. After our meeting and when I was sure we were moving I enrolled my son at The Treehouse!
The preschool is brand new and is located in a beautiful large house with different rooms dedicated to different activities. They also have a huge backyard which is filled with toys, musical instruments, a playhouse, scooter, etc. The preschool is immaculate, their days are structured with different age appropriate play-based activities. Their teachers are fun, engaging, energetic and dedicated.
I feel extremely lucky that I found this place just before it opened so that I could get a spot for my son- I am sure it will fill up quickly. I would highly recommend making an appointment to come and tour The Treehouse for yourself if you're looking for a quality, independent, play-based, family-style preschool program in the Bellevue/Redmond area!

Our son attended the Growing Tree from age 1-3 years old. This playcare and preschool location is located in the lower portion of Jessie and Ali's home. These two owners bring years of experience, early childhood education degrees, and simple genuine love for their kids and families! Our son's day was filled with hands-on learning, crafts, dancing, and play. He made the best friends here and the owner/staff are magical at developing the all-important social skills. They also have a rare "natural" (grass/bark/dirt instead of cement or rubber) large backyard play area that the kids love running around and exploring. The inside is warm and inviting, and my son plenty of hugs and love-- he calls it "cuddle school." :-) Location is also very convenient near Overlake Hospital and downtown Bellevue!

Our daughter was the first child to enroll at The Growing Tree, and we couldn't be happier with the care she has received!! Miss Jessi and Miss Alli are extremely competent and caring, and really strive to make their house a "home" to the children they serve. My daughter gets to do fun little arts and crafts every day, and has learned so much academically and socially here. I would recommend The Growing Tree without hesitation!
