So while our home will not be licensed by the state for child care we will be licensed for foster care and will have monthly inspections by our social worker. My husband and I are fingerprinted and have clear background checks. We believe in being a bridge between home and childcare. We highly value communication and being open, fair and honest. Play is the key to helping a child develop to the maximum potential. We will allow children to explore their own interests while learning to share space and socialize with other people who's needs may differ from their own. We will facilitate and help expand on this play, while providing them with experiences tailored to their interests or as ways to develop possible new interests. We charge $1000 per month per child with additional fees for hours exceeding 50 hours per week. We provide 3 meals per day and 2 - 3 snacks. We will have a variety of activities available for the children. We welcome children ages 2 months old to 6 years old (possibly school age children, depending on the situation). We are foster parents and have appointments that we have to maintain for the children, who will be home with us and your children. Sometimes some or all of the children will go with us to these appointments and have activities to do while we wait, or sometimes they will remain home with either my husband or myself while the other takes the child. We will always notify you in advance of these appointments and require written permission before taking them in any vehicle or public transportation. If you are looking for a safe caring environment for your child while you work, please contact us through email, phone or through our website. We hope to hear from you soon.

Child care
ABC Learning Center is a Childcare, Pre-School and Pre K readiness program offering affordable child care services. Our Learning Center programs are guided by educational professionals in a nurturing environment. We use a hands-on approach to learning that involves the child in a rich and diverse group of activities. Our child care center accommodates working parents and is a family based center child care. Meaning everyone here is family and our centers environment gives children the feeling of family, education and safety. Infant: Our curriculum is developed to work with each infant individually on each skill set, at their pace, to encourage continued growth and development. We will begin transitioning your infant to our Toddler program at 11 months. When we have reached that time, we will notify you with a transition letter, which will include the details of how our transition will work, to make the transition for both you and your infant enjoyable and successful. Toddler: At our center, we strongly encourage the children to learn independent skills, but we are always there to lend a helping hand. Development of crucial skills such as zipping up their jacket, putting on their shoes, and washing their hands are practiced daily. Each child is different, but we typically begin the potty training process anywhere between 18-24 months and we ask that parent supply extra underwear and cloths. We always keep you updated on your child's progress, and try to build the best communication between the parent and teacher. Preschool/PreK: We continue to work on recognizing letters, numbers, shapes, and colors, however we no longer review them alphabetically or numerically, we now recognize them by site. We will be able to identify shapes, count from 1 to 20, compare and classify objects. We will work both independently and in group activities. Social and emotional growth is amazing as they prepare to move on to their next school experience. We continue to offer Learning Center experience and our teacher directive curriculum becomes more structured, to allow projects that can extend over days. With teacher directive projects, the curriculum challenges the students to find answers, problem solve and use the learning centers to continue with hands on experiences in areas of literacy, math and science. School Age: Our School Age Program is an extension of our other program descriptions. We continue to offer Learning Center opportunities, for the School Agers.

Keris' Kids

I have over eight years experience as a private nanny and more than 15 years caring for children. Keri's Kids is the next best option, if you are unable to afford a private nanny in your home. This is not your typical home day care, where kids are plopped in one room of a house or left in the basement! The house itself, is brand new construction. The home is completely furnished and dedicated to the children. We offer licensed, CPR and first-aid certified. All meals/snacks are provided. There is a very low ratio of caregivers to children. Again, this is the next best thing to having a nanny for your child. We have an educational based, age appropriate curriculum. Repetition, sensory development and fun are part of our everyday routines. Large fenced yard and a beautiful park across the street from house.
