Seeking Full-time Senior Care Provider In Cleveland

Full Time
Seeking care for my mother in her 60s. Services needed: meal preparation, help staying physically active, transportation, light housekeeping, errands / shopping. No prior experience required. Specialized care needs: support for chronic illness. Female caregiver preferred. A little more about my mother: she can be anxious, lethargic, pleasant, reserved. My mother is trapped in her own mind in a state of mental hell and anguish and debilitating anxiety. She has had every test and treatment done that is available and nothing has helped. She is physically capable but can't mentally do anything. She still has a sharp memory, and she is very kind and sweet to be around. It's kind of hard to explain without seeing it for yourself. She is able to go to the bathroom, shower and feed herself, but she won't eat unless someone makes it for her. Other than getting out of the bed for the aforementioned, she hasn't been out of bed since January of this year. I'm looking for someone who is patient, chatty, quiet, strong, fond of pets. We really need someone who is patient and encouraging who can get groceries a couple of times a week and cook a few meals and makes sure she eats lunch and dinners. She is good on breakfast as she gets herself a Boost drink every morning. We really need someone who is patient and encouraging who can get groceries a couple of times a week and cook or prepare a few meals (maybe even just heat up frozen dinners) and make sure she eats lunch and dinners. She is good on breakfast as she gets herself a Boost drink every morning. Someone who is kind and a Christian would be great but not a requirement . Mom is a believer and loves when people pray with and for her, but again, not a requirement. We want someone who is friendly but also someone who understands that Mom's capacity for social interaction and conversation is limited. Light housework on the main floor would be an added bonus of just vacuuming and mopping the main level of the home and cleaning the guest bathroom on the main floor one of the three days a week that one would be coming to bring groceries and prepare food.
