Full Time Nanny/Babysitter

Hello! I am looking for a job as a child care provider because I have always had such a passion for working with children! I've worked in childcare for almost 11years now working with ages 2 months- 11 years in age, and there's never been a dull moment! :) I have had experience working at a family owned daycare for 3 years, I taught 10 3-year-olds in a classroom like environment for a year, multiple nanny jobs (past 6 years) and I have babysat more times than I can count. I have a little 19-month-old boy of my own so I am hoping to find a family willing to allow me to bring along my little one while caring for yours as well. I have spent so much of my time caring for other peoples children and I can't imagine not having my own baby boy with me daily. If you have any questions for me please don't hesitate to ask.

Kylie is an incredible nanny. She worked for us for over a year and became like family. Kylie loved our son well and I felt completely comfortable with him in her care. She was very reliable and great at communication. She was open to any of my ideas on how I wanted to parent our son and was always willing to make changes if necessary. She has the sweetest heart and it was very clear that she cared for him. She made the days fun with outings and play dates, and kept me informed of what was happening throughout the day. Having her son around my 3yr old was a wonderful experience and did not interfere in any way with her care. I would recommend Kylie in a heartbeat!

Mature, dependable and fit, I am passionate about active learning and engagement because that's what makes children (and parents) happy. I understand the support (light housekeeping, meal prep) that a parent needs after work to come home to calm, clean(er) home and happy children. For 25 years, I've worked with children, as a nanny, teacher, after-school program director, parent engagement coordinator and as an at-home parent. I teach English online, but I miss working with children and am looking for a part time opportunity. Warm and caring, I have been a mother, so I understand the demands and challenges of operating an efficient household and am willing to assist in other areas, such as light housekeeping and meal prep. I am physically active and understand the importance of flexibility, a sense of humor and confidentiality. I am a Certified Elementary Teacher and have great references.

Laura was with our Portland, OR family for 2.5 years, and I would absolutely recommend her for other families. She cared for our children 35-40 hrs a week and left a positive impression on our 2 girls. Laura is very qualified to work with children. It is very apparent she enjoys working with children, and the kiddos LOVE having her around. While in our home, she demonstrated tremendous responsibility in taking care of our children and in keeping the house in working order. She is kind, trustworthy and great with children. She was always on time, and willing to work with our busy schedule. It is clear that working as a nanny is a passion for Laura. She always had creative ideas for activities (yoga, nature adventures, painting etc.) and my kids still talk about the princess music (aka classical music) she shared with them. She keeps the children occupied, engaged and most importantly, safe. My husband and I miss her just as much as our children miss her!
