About Kate

I have been working with kids since I was 12 years old! I worked as a mother's helper for a family with 3 children until I was old enough to babysit on my own. I grew with that family for several years, dealing with various stages in their development from toddler to preschool to school-age. The word got out in my neighborhood and several other families employed my services!! In high school I worked as a volunteer at a preschool for several years. I taught swim and snowboarding lessons to children as well. In college, I was a nanny for a couple of families with children aged 4m to 8y. Responsibilities included ensuring safe and fun play, dressing, bathing, cooking, cleaning, dog walking, transportation, school transitions, medication administration, facilitating nap and bedtime routines. I have always loved working with children, as it feels like it comes naturally to me! I am dependable, conscientious, and caring. I look forward to working with you and your family!
