I am a 54yr mother of 3, recently relocated to the Treasure Valley, and finally an Empty Nester! I previously worked full time as a Paraprofessional in Special Education for my local school district, but I am now substituting for Boise School District. I've have worked long term with families as a part time afterschool nanny for both Special Needs and Neurotypical children. I am no longer looking to nanny but would like to fill my free time with occasional evening and weekend sitting as my schedule allows. I was a Girl Scout leader for 12 years, and a yard duty and active volunteer at my children's school. I love working with kids of all ages and abilities. I enjoy creative engagement and can think outside the box when necessary. I am level headed and calm in emergencies. Also happy to drive children to activities when in my care. Gretchen was like god send to me and my family. She was my regular after school nanny for last 2.5 years. She quickly understood the needs of my special child, and successfully created a bond with him. She was always on time and took care of all my requests during her care time.
