Part Time
Seeking care for my mother in her 80s. Services needed: companionship, bathing / dressing, meal preparation, help staying physically active, mobility assistance. No prior experience required. Specialized care needs: support for memory care. Female caregiver preferred. A little more about my mother: she can be pleasant. My mother is 80 years old with Alzheimer's, I've noticed a decline over the last month and a half. She used to be very energetic and outgoing , now she's very quite and low energy. She has good days and not so good days. She needs help getting up from sitting and direction in where the bathroom is. She also needs help using the bathroom. A walk a day would be ideal but might have to be in wheelchair. (I usually have her push it as far as she can then push her the rest of the way). She eats on her own but needs to be reminded to eat or she lets it sit in front if her. She can not do stairs without assistance, she's on the ground floor so it's only to go out for a walk or into the yard. I have been home with her since beginning of April but need to return to work next week. I'm looking for someone who is patient, chatty, strong, fond of pets. Someone who is engaging even if it is only one sided. Someone who has the patience for repetitive questions, honest, ethical and KIND.
