Long term PNN client (since 2007) in Bryn Mawr seeks to hire a part-time housekeeper, 3 days per week.
The preferred hours are Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8:00am-1:00 p.m. or 8:30am-1:30 p.m. though the family has flexibility with schedule for the right candidate. They currently employ 2 PNN candidates, one a Household Manager who cares for 2 school age children and second a personal assistant for mom and dad; they have a terrific relationship with both candidates.
Job is full cleaning, organizing and maintaining a 7.000 square foot home, (6 bedrooms, and 6 bathrooms) including laundry, beds, and general cleaning.
The housekeeper best for the position is one who is highly organized and detail-oriented, is self directed, has a strong work ethic and can multi-task in a busy household.
In addition to $20-$25 per hour gross (BEFORE TAXES) the housekeeper will receive 2 weeks paid vacation (to be coordinated with the family's vacation time) plus Memorial Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day paid if they fall on a work day. If a work day falls on 4th of July and Labor Day, the Housekeeper will be asked to work a different day that week, otherwise if they can't, it will be unpaid day off.
This job is long term and requires at least a year commitment (though they'd love longer. Their current Housekeeper has been with them for 10 years and is leaving to go to nursing school). Job starts as soon as they find the right candidate.
Eligible candidates must be able to provide proof of legal work status in the US, if hired and must have verifiable housekeeping experience in a private home with check-able references.
