My brother, Bob, needs a companion care provider to keep an eye on him after wrist surgery. Normally he would stay overnight at a hospital, but that's no longer an option due to Covid-19. My brother is in his late 50s and he's 80% blind. Additional responsibilities include meal preparation. Ideally, you will pick Bob up at the surgery center and bring him home to his apartment which is less than 1 mile away. We will find out the exact pick-up time tomorrow, but hours would be Monday afternoon through 8:00 a.m. Tuesday morning. Bob is a very easy-going guy and I don't think he will need much help. You can make yourself comfortable in his clean apartment, watch TV and fall asleep in a lazy-boy chair. Bob will be resting in another room. Bob's surgeon requires that he is not alone after the surgery.
