Seeking Part-time Senior Care Provider In Manchester

Part Time
Seeking care for my grandmother in her 80's. Services needed: bathing / dressing, mobility assistance. No prior experience required. Specialized care needs: CPR/first aid training, support for memory care. Female caregiver preferred. A little more about my grandmother: she can be anxious, lethargic, pleasant. My grandmother has Alzheimer's and she doesn't hear or see well. She is afraid of falling and she uses a cane for support. She likes to talk and she will be friendly and obedient to an outsider, but is defiant with family. She likes to tease and repeats the same phrases often. I'm looking for someone who is patient, chatty, firm, strong. The caregiver needs to be able to make my grandmother feel comfortable by talking to her and showing kindness. The caregiver needs to help her shower twice a week. My grandmother loves to go for rides and to go out to restaurants. She attends bingo with my aunt on Wednesday nights. She can be stubborn and manipulative so its important to be firm! She wants to be waited on and will refuse to get up to get herself a drink or food. She does minimal activities, just sits in her recliner with the TV on. She will go out with my aunt, but stays in the car. She argues and yells at my aunt when asked to shower or wash up, so we need an outside person to help. My grandmother wears a heavy depends adult diaper at all times because she has frequent accidents. She waits too long to use the bathroom and then doesn't make it. My aunt is her primary caregiver. During the visit, my aunt would like to leave the house to errands and have a break from the constant care of my grandmother.
