Dolphins Swim Camp combines professional swim instruction with all the fun of a traditional summer camp, creating the perfect blend of skill-building, confidence, and adventure for children entering kindergarten through second grade. What Makes Dolphins Swim Camp Special Each day at Dolphins Swim Camp is thoughtfully designed to build water confidence while creating lasting summer memories. Mornings begin with check-in, warm-up activities, and a healthy snack before we head to Carlmont High School Pool for swim instruction Monday through Thursday.. Campers receive age-appropriate swim lessons from qualified instructors, followed by supervised recreational swim time, all under the watchful eyes of certified lifeguards. Two days per week or more, campers are transported to the Belmont Library Playground to explore, play, and enjoy lunch before returning for swim lessons. Fridays do not include swim lessons. Instead, Dolphin campers join Camp Footsteps Junior Explorers for their weekly special event. On Friday afternoons, campers return to the pool for recreational swim time. If you are new to snorkeling this is the ideal choice! Particularly good for families with younger children or swimmers who aren’t certain if they are “seaworthy” enough for one of our longer trips. This trip is much slower-paced and affords guests time to become more familiar and comfortable with the exciting and beautiful sport of snorkeling. Our crew will be happy to help you adjust your mask, fins, and snorkel and help you become comfortable viewing the tropical fish while using a flotation assistance device we call a “noodle”.
