Fun & Flips Class is a beginner level gymnastics class for athletes who love to flip! Athletes will work on form, strength, flexibility, and be introduced to basic skills and terminology. Fun & Flips will give athlete’s the strong foundation needed to obtain more difficult skills in a fun and engaging way. Tiny Twisters is an introductory gymnastics and movement class—perfect for children looking to build strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination. Young gymnasts will stretch their bodies, swing on the bars, develop core strength while walking on the balance beam, and jump on the trampoline. PE 102 is a 90-minute class that allows students to explore multiple sports in a fun, learning environment. This program is designed for students to be ACTIVE while learning about athletics and team sports. Each class begins with a dynamic warm-up and stretch. Next, we rotate through agility stations and drills. Units of study include sport-specific drills and games, including rules of the game, strategy, and the fundamentals required to play. We also enjoy fun classic games like kickball, dodgeball, whiffleball, wallball and capture the flag. We are unable to offer refunds once classes have started.

P.E outside, how can you go wrong?! We will run through instruction for a variety of sports and then jump right in to the action. Games include: -Dodgeball -Soccer -Flag Football -Ultimate Frisbee -Tennis -Capture the Flag -Kick Ball And much, much more!

Welcome to Camp Footsteps Adventurers! Footsteps Child Care, in partnership with the City of Belmont Parks and Recreation, is excited to offer nine weeks of summer camp designed specifically for older children and youth entering fourth grade through middle school. This summer, we are thrilled to feature specialized classes provided by Lando, including Advanced LEGO Robotics and Clay Studio Lab. Field Trip: Aqua Adventure, Fremont Special Event: Wacky Water Day & End-of-Camp Party Every day brings something new to discover, learn, and explore—making camp an unforgettable adventure! MONDAY kicks off the week with team-building activities that help campers connect and collaborate, plus Advanced LEGO Robotics (10am-12pm), where they will choose a robotics challenge, plan their build, and test it with real data. Using LEGO® bricks and Technic components (beams, axles, gears, motors, and sensors), they will tune for speed, lift, or control, log test results, and present how each modification improved their design. In the afternoon campers can participate in a group cooking project. TUESDAY features morning hikes through local trails followed by recreational swimming at Highlands Recreation Center. WEDNESDAY is field trip day, with exciting excursions designed for adventure and exploration. Campers will experience thrilling attractions, water activities, outdoor adventures, and even an overnight camping experience! Each trip offers opportunities to build friendships, try new activities, and create unforgettable summer memories. THURSDAY offers flexible time in the morning for activities and games, with afternoon recreational swim time. FRIDAY wraps up each week with special events, community service projects, or Counselors-In-Training opportunities. From 2pm to 4pm, campers can also join Clay Studio Lab, where they will create gallery-ready, multi-module scenes using internal armatures, balanced bases, and clean joins. They will refine their work with cohesive color palettes and textures while explaining how their design choices enhanced structural integrity and visual clarity.

Class is @ the Hi-Five Sports Zone. Hi-Five Coaches will focus on the following during these sessions: Game Play situations Proper Defense and defensive positioning Basic Offensive plays Out of bounds plays Skill Development and much more This link is specifically designed for participants who would like to join just the gymnastics.
