Join us for a special International Day of Women and Girls in Science STEM Mini Camp, hosted in collaboration with the Girl Scouts! This empowering 2-hour experience is designed to inspire girls through hands-on learning, creativity, and teamwork in a fun and supportive environment. Participants will rotate through three engaging activities: Women in Science Spotlight – Girls will work in small groups to learn about an inspiring Latina woman in science, research her work, and create a short presentation. Engineering Challenge – A hands-on team challenge that builds problem-solving, collaboration, and engineering thinking. Valentine’s Day Slime Lab – A fun science experiment where girls explore chemistry concepts while creating their own slime to take home. Introducing girls to STEM at a young age builds confidence, curiosity, and a strong sense of belonging in science and technology fields.
