Art Classes in Shelton, CT

Art Lessons perfect for ages 4-6 years. 1-hour class It's apple season! Get messy with us as we paint this delicious seasonal fruit with acrylic on canvas. Students will learn about light and form as they develop values to bring their fruit to life. We will use a variety of media, including watercolor, acrylic & tempera paints, oil pastels, mixed media, and clay for our beginner classes throughout the school-year! Join us each week! Choose the day that works best for you: Tuesdays at 4:30 pm, Thursdays at 5:00 pm, or Saturdays at 9:30 am

Art lessons for ages 10+ 2-hr class. This weekly class is a great option for kids looking to move ahead with their artistic talents. Students can choose to come on Tuesdays, or Thursdays, or both! Whatever works best for your schedule. The students are given more independence and freedom to be creative with the projects, and they have more autonomy in how their projects go. Projects often run for 3-4 weeks to give students the extra time to create a really impressive piece. We typically start a new project at the beginning of each month. Recommended for ages 10-16.
