Art Classes in Shelton, CT

It’s spooky season, and what better way to celebrate than with a haunted art project? This month students will put their design skills to the test as they construct a miniature haunted house! Using cardboard and mixed media, they will get creative and crafty, coming up with a perfectly spooky house. Once their sculptures are crafted, they’ll seal them with plaster and paint, completing the ultimate seasonal decor. Art lessons for ages 10+ 2-hr class. This weekly class is a great option for kids looking to move ahead with their artistic talents. Students can choose to come on Tuesdays, or Thursdays, or both! Whatever works best for your schedule. The students are given more independence and freedom to be creative with the projects, and they have more autonomy in how their projects go. Projects often run for 3-4 weeks to give students the extra time to create a really impressive piece. We typically start a new project at the beginning of each month. Recommended for ages 10-16.

Come paint this fun and festive little ghost and friend and get in the spirit of the season. Perfect class for children ages 7-9 years old. 90-min class We will use a variety of media, including watercolor, acrylic & tempera paints, oil pastels, mixed media, and clay for our intermediate classes throughout the school-year!
