Art Classes in Bethel, CT

Join us each week for a fun and educational homeschool art class where creativity meets learning! Every session explores a different educational theme—such as science, history, nature, or literature—and guides students through an exciting art project inspired by that topic. This hands-on approach encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and self-expression while reinforcing key educational concepts in a memorable and creative way. Perfect for homeschoolers of all ages!

Students in our Advanced Art class will explore a variety of artistic mediums while developing their own creative projects. With guidance and support from our instructors, students have the freedom to work independently, experiment with new techniques, and bring their ideas to life. This class is perfect for tweens and teens who want to grow their artistic skills while creating something uniquely their own!

It’s spooky season, and what better way to celebrate than with a haunted art project? This month students will put their design skills to the test as they construct a miniature haunted house out of cardboard. Once their sculptures are perfectly crafted, they’ll seal them with plaster and paint, completing the ultimate original decor.

Get into the spirit of the season with this chilling silhouette painting. Students will learn about positive and negative space as they master line and form to bring their cat to life.

This week at The Giggling Pig we’re celebrating Halloween by featuring Shakespear’s Weird Sisters in this ball-point pen drawing. Students will learn all about texture as they practice different application techniques to achieve contrast and make their witches pop.
