Lower Antelope Canyon, located in northern Arizona, belongs to the Navajo Aboriginal Reserve. Antelope Canyon is divided into two separate parts on the terrain, with Lower Antelope Canyon being shallower than the Upper Antelope. Lighting is better in the early hours and late morning.

You will be picked up at Walmart, Page AZ for this adventure. Antelope Canyon X is possibly the most-photographed of northern Arizona's sandstone slot canyons. The glowing orange and purple colors of the wind and water carved, narrow fissures in Antelope Canyon X feature in many beautiful images. Some hiking is required. Time is allotted for lunch on your own. We also include a 1.5 mile walk (roundtrip) out to Horseshoe Bend which is an iconic photo of the canyon and the Colorado River Returning to Walmart, Page AZ approximately 2:45pm

The trip begins in Page, AZ with boarding our bus and driving to Lee’s Ferry. Once at Lee’s Ferry join your guide on your raft for the morning. You will start your trip by motoring up to Petroglyph Beach and its fascinating archeological site. Look up in awe at the soaring cliffs above Horseshoe Bend as you learn the stories of the Ancestral Puebloan people who lived in the area. Enjoy floating while taking in the views of Glen Canyon. Antelope Canyon X, located southeast of Lower Antelope canyon by the gateway town of Page, Arizona, is named after the Xs carved into the Navajo Sandstone created by millions of years of rainfall and wind. This part of the canyon is chiseled out by millions of years’ worth of flood erosion and impactful winds on its sandstone, enough to sculpt out the iconic "X" shape that aptly named the canyon. Canyon X is a relatively new scenic tour and the lesser-known cousin of Upper/Lower Antelope Canyon, which results in fewer visitors by comparison to the other two. Canyon X is a mixture of the characteristics of both the Upper and Lower canyon, with the Upper’s feature of pillars of light and the Lower’s steepness. Canyon X is also deeper than the other two and brings ample photo opportunities. It truly is a great vacation spot for photography as well.
