Travel in our off-road Can Am Defenders driven by our experienced guides to the Coal Hollow Slot Canyon. This tour is a great tour for young families and beginning canyoneers. After arriving at the canyon we will have a 1/2 mile steep hike. We will then Rappel through the slot canyon via 4 rappels. This will be the high-light of your vacation! Due to the fact that we have multiple tours per day being on time is very important. If you are more than 15 minutes late we will have to leave without you. Our favorite tour to recommend with the most bang for your buck! See two iconic Zion landmarks in a 1 hr rugged Jeep tour. First we wind through the pine forest reaching a stunning view of Checkerboard Mesa. Next onto a rugged descent of several hundred feet into Jolley Gulch where we make our second stop. Here you can take an optional two minute unguided hike to see a top down view of the Jolley Gulch slot canyon that reaches 200 feet down into its narrow canyon walls. We then climb our way out, crossing the the river bed several times as we work our way back on top of the Ponderosa plateau and back home.

Load into our Can-Am UTV's and let our guides drive you to the base of a little known slot canyon called Coal Hollow Slot Canyon. After a short 1/2 mile but steep hike we will arrive at the first of 6 to 7 rappels. We provide all the equipment we will need for this amazing opportunity to rappel into a slot canyon. Come explore some of Southern Utah's most unique slot canyons! This tour begins with a thrilling ride in a customized off-road machine leading to a slot canyon, which is privately accessed and far from any paved roads. Once at the canyon's mouth, the hike begins. The red canyon walls stretch over 100 -feet high on either side, with a gap of only 6-10 feet between the walls to hike through. Led by a guide and local expert, the tour continues on foot through the canyon while learning about Native American history and geographical information. This tour is specific for groups that do not desire to climb, and when the canyon gets too difficult the group will hike back to the UTV and travel to a separate slot canyon and explore the bottom section of it as well.
