Explore the slit gorge on a hiking trip. Walk first 100 meters to X Canyon to see the first slit-type canyons, which is hidden in the foot seams and full of mysteries. Then walk 200 meters with your guide to reach the second gorge. Overlooking from the air, you will see the water flowing in the sand and stones. In this gorge, the X formed by the millions of years of flooding and wind-engraving Navajo sandstone will stand out clear as day. Lower Antelope Canyon Lower Antelope Canyon is located near Page, Arizona, and is one of the world’s most famous slot canyons. Over time, wind and flash floods shaped the red sandstone into smooth, flowing curves. As sunlight enters through the narrow openings above, the canyon walls glow in beautiful shades of orange, gold, red, and purple, making it an excellent place for photography. All visitors must enter with an authorized Navajo guide. The tour usually lasts about one hour. Guests will need to walk through narrow passages and use several metal staircases, so comfortable, non-slip shoes are strongly recommended. Travelers with limited mobility or a fear of heights should consider the physical requirements before booking. Lower Antelope Canyon is especially known for its dramatic rock formations and constantly changing light. Actual lighting conditions depend on the season, weather, and tour time. Final entry times and arrangements are subject to the canyon operator’s schedule.
