This course is for the Lil’ Chefs, ages 3-5, who still need an adult by their side. This is a hands-on cooking class that allows adults to help their little ones measure dry and wet ingredients. Each adult has the choice to cook alongside their child or assist, depending on their age and capabilities. Join us on campus at St John's Episcopal School for the Winter Session 8-Week Series. This is your student's chance for some hands-on cooking FUN! Lil’ Chef School teaches children the joy of cooking in a kid-friendly and safe environment. Budding chefs learn the basics of cooking while participating in the preparation of real recipes they get to taste at the end of each class. Students learn how to use a safety knife, kitchen safety, properly measure wet & dry ingredients, as well as etiquette, math, and science!

Our baking workshops are back! Come bake with us and whip up some fun in our cool kitchens. Lil’ Chefs will learn how to properly measure wet and dry ingredients, the importance of exact measurements, and how to follow a recipe. We will work together in small groups to complete each part of the recipe, and each Lil’ Chef will create and decorate their own to take home. We will make individual heart cupcakes with Pink Buttercream Frosting and Hershey’s Kisses.

This hands-on 16-week course is an advanced cooking program designed for young chefs who are ready to take their skills to the next level. Students will step into the world of a 5-star kitchen, learning essential techniques such as plating, knife skills, sautéing, and roasting.
