Uncover Salem's history on this guided day trip from Boston. Travel stress-free by train and then embark on a walking tour through the streets where you'll hear stories of Puritans and pirates, visit memorials to the accused and learn how pop culture helped reshape Salem’s identity. Your local guide will bring history to life, from the Witch House to Burying Point and more stops in between. Finish the day at either the Salem Witch Museum or Real Pirates Museum (depending on the day of your tour). With a small group size and all logistics handled, you’ll uncover the true story of Salem—and why it still resonates today.

Our tour begins in the Financial District at Kane’s Donuts where we’ll sample several of their daily flavors. After which, we’ll take a leisurely stroll along the waterfront on our way over to Boston’s Public Market. While there, we’ll try some delicious donuts and apple cider. You’ll also learn some history around the market and have a moment to check out other vendors. On to our third stop, we’ll walk through Boston’s North End or “Little Italy” neighborhood - one of the oldest neighborhoods in Boston. In the North End, we’ll stop at one of the oldest bakeries in the neighborhood. We’ll have a uniquely Boston treat while we’re here. Lastly, we’ll walk back through the North End to end our tour back at the Public Market where we’ll finish with Union Square Donuts. Come out for a day sail adventure in Boston Harbor aboard our classic schooner, the Liberty Star. Get away from the hustle and bustle of the city streets and enjoy some quality time out on the water with unbeatable views of the city. Choose our Mimosa/Brunch sail on weekends at 11:00 for a 2-hour sail including complimentary pastries and coffee from Flour Bakery as well as mimosas! Drinks are available onboard for purchase via cash, credit, or Apple Pay - our menu includes several beers brewed right here in South Boston! We also have red and white wine, cocktails, soda, juice, and water available in addition to several snack options. You are welcome to bring your own snacks or bagged lunches, but please no coolers or outside beverages. There is no formal narration during our daysails, but feel free to ask the captain and crew and they’ll happily share their knowledge of local landmarks and history.

Nothing quite captures the beauty of New England like the Southern Maine Coast. Incredible scenery, lighthouses, history and great food make this trip a "must" on any Boston visit! After being picked up by our professional guide, you can relax and enjoy the 75 mile drive to York, Maine. There you will stop to view the Cape Neddick Light Station. Construction on this awe inspiring lighthouse was completed on July 1st, 1879. Nubble Light as it is called, is widely regarded as one of the most photographed lighthouses in the country. From there your journey will take you to the town of Ogunquit. Stroll along Marginal Way and enjoy the beauty of a quintessential New England coastline. This 1 1/4 mile path winds along the cliffs overlooking the beating shores of the Atlantic. Next stop will be Kennebunkport where you will have the option to purchase a 1 hour narrated trolley tour. You will also have approximately 2.hours of free time to enjoy lunch, shopping or whatever else you may choose.
