Sunset Sailing Cruise on a Tall Ship in Boston Harbor

    4.6 (380)

    Powered by Viator

    Boston, MA

If Boston is best seen from the water, then by far the best time to see it is during a sunset cruise on a classic Boston tall ship! We depart Fan Pier Marina and raise the sails, then it’s time to just chill out and relax. Get away from the hustle and bustle of the city streets and enjoy some quality time out on the water with unbeatable views of the skyline sparkling in the twilight. Drinks are available onboard for purchase via cash, credit, or Apple Pay - our menu includes several beers brewed right here in Boston! We also have red and white wine, cocktails, soda, juice, and water available in addition to several snack options. Snacks and bag lunches are welcome, but please no coolers or outside beverages. There is no formal narration during our public sails, but feel free to ask the captain and crew and they’ll happily share their knowledge of local landmarks and history.

    Haunted Boston Ghost Tours

    4.5 (91)

    Powered by Viator

    Boston, MA

Haunted Boston Ghost Tours, LLC is the oldest ghost walking tour in Boston. Owner, Hillary Kidd, started the company in 2005 as the only tour guide and the company quickly expanded with over 8 tour guides. The concept behind the ghost tours is to tell guests the "darker side of Boston's history" through good, old-fashioned storytelling. The guides do not dress up in costumes, use fake accents, nor rely on theatrics to entertain guests. "Theatrics are not needed when your stories are good, and we tell the entire gamut of creepy stories - ghost stories, haunted locations, murder, the macabre, books bound in human skin; as I like to say, we tell the 'other side' of Boston's history." Powered by Viator

    Boston, MA

Follow a professional historian, concerned about historical accuracy, able to address adults and children alike, in joy and good humor, to discuss the links between France and America. For example… What are the links and controversies between the history of Quebec and New England? Why was a young man of the French nobility, the Chevalier de Saint-Sauveur, assassinated by rebellious inhabitants? How did the “Yankees” overcome their intolerance towards the French to beat the English on their side? How did the Souvenir of the Marquis de La Fayette encourage Americans to fight and fall on the field of honor alongside the Poilus in 1917? How did the 1775 Revolution spread from America to France in 1789, and from France to Haiti, Vietnam, and other struggles for Freedom and Human Rights, and what their consequences today?
