What your child’s day will look like
Fall Semester Session 2 (October-December) "Every child is an artist"-Pablo Picasso. This class provides classical instruction and skill building in art from a professional degreed artist. In this class your child will refine their fine motor skills as they learn to draw, paint, and sculpt, while also learning a little art history. Students produce a variety of projects with various mediums and subjects in order to learn different techniques and skills in creating art. Classes are limited in size, so sign your child up today!

Summer Pirkle
Instructor
Summer graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Drawing and Painting, and grew up observing her mother paint murals and faces, working in a wide range of art that eventually influenced her to explore many different styles herself. As an instructor and an artist, Summer specializes in acrylic painting of animals and nature, anime-styled cartoon illustration, and digital art. As a teacher, Summer strives to help students discover their own artistic interests and find their drive to create art. Her goal is to replace negative views of one’s own work or skills with positive thinking and the desire to experiment and grow as an artist.

Materials: A $45 kit fee due the first of class for new students. All other supplies included. Though we do provide aprons, please wear clothes that may get messy.
