He began playing saxophone at the age of 12, he continued his education by going out and performing on the street. His musical influences include Too Many Zooz, Moon Hooch, and Lucky Chops. Jairo's favorite thing about music is performing in front of people; his favorite thing about teaching music is being able to help others in their Saxophone Journey. One of his favorite teaching experiences was when a student told him his friends were impressed by how much he already knew.
