Years of Experience: 30 Location Options: In Studio, In Home Travel Radius: 50 Genres: Rock, Blues, Country, Acoustic Age Groups: Young Adult, Adult Instruments Taught: Bass Guitar Lessons Overview: I grew up in Nashville, TN. hanging out with my Dad, learning the technical side of the Music Industry, playing in school and in several bands around town. Early influences, such as Led Zeppelin, Yes and Pink Floyd, peaked a curiosity with the Bass that turned into a passion. Metallica, Queensrÿche, Mr. Big and Tool have added fuel to the fire, with more recent bands including Alter Bridge, Disturbed and Godsmack. All of these and many more have given me a style that is very solid while keeping a creative edge and intense attitude in my sound Formal Education: High School Graduate 1981 Belmont College; Music Theory, Ear Training and Improvisation Private Education: Numerous lessons, tips, and tricks of the trade from instructors and friends throughout the years, and I am always learning new techniques. Performing Experience: I have played hundreds of shows and recorded many CD's, songs, and sometimes just a lick. It's all about playing bass! Experience Teaching: I seem to always have a couple of students I work with. I am not a "formal teacher" by any means, but I love to teach those who want to learn.
