Years of Experience: 22 Location Options: In Studio, In Home, In Webcam Travel Radius: 15 Genres: Classical Instruments Taught: Keyboard and Piano Lessons,Vocal Lessons,Orchestral Lessons Overview: Daniel serves as Instructor in educational technology, philosophy, and music at Touro College in New York. teaches piano, violin, voice and chamber music at Calderone School of Music in New Jersey, and teaches strings at St. Ignatius School in the Bronx and with Scarsdale Strings. Formal Education: Daniel holds a masterrsquo;s in Instrumental Music Education from Queens College/CUNY, certification in Suzuki Violin Pedagogy from The School for Strings, an MFA in Chamber Music from Sarah Lawrence College where studied with Dorothy DeLay, and a performance degree in Violin from Indiana University in Bloomington. Private Education: Daniel has had professional development at (among others) the Maurice Peress Conducting Workshop, the choral conducting studio of James John, the Bennington VT Chamber Music Conference, the voice studios of Pierre Vallet, Catherine Rowe and Russell Ger, and the viola studios of Nicholas Cords and Calvin Wiersma. Performing Experience: Daniel has served the Long Island Masterworks Chorus as baritone, ensemble soloist, and German diction coach, and performed for several seasons with the Queens College a cappella Vocal Ensemble. At the Tenri Cultural Institute in New York, premiered Kermit Moorersquo;s song cycle ldquo;Tetelestairdquo;. Since 2000, has enthusiastically studied, performed, and at times premiered chamber music at the Bennington College summer chamber music conference, where helped form the TAHJ piano trio and Bennigton string trio. Experience Teaching: Daniel was Instructor in violin, viola, and chamber music at the Lawrence Eisman Center for Preparatory Studies in Music, Queens College. taught violin, keyboard, guitar, and chorus at the British International School in Kiev, Ukraine, while serving as Cantor at Atikva Tsentr for Progressive Judaism.
