Perfect for inquisitive minds aged 4.5 - 11, with age appropriate activities and participation, this camp inspires curiosity about earth science through exciting experiments and creative activities. From erupting volcanoes to measuring wind speed, campers will uncover the mysteries of Earth’s processes and learn how scientists study them. Volcano Eruptions: Create and watch dramatic eruptions while learning about chemical reactions. DIY Landslides: Build and test models to understand erosion and stability. Make a Seismograph: Build your own earthquake detector and record "seismic waves." Anemometers & Wind Turbines: Explore renewable energy and measure wind speed. Sources of Water Model: Understand the water cycle and its importance to life on Earth. Giant Candy Crystals: Learn the science of crystallization with this tasty project. Engaging, Fun, and Educational: With hands-on activities and creative problem-solving, this camp fosters a love for science and nature.
