Ihave a home PC based recording studio. I read the trade magazines (EQ, Recording, Guitar Player and Computer Music). I took music classes in college with music theory being one of them. I can teach begining to intermediate bass and guitar. I can also teach how to use DAW's (digital audio workstations), along with interface and process equipment like eq, compression, delay, reverb etc., using plug-ins or hardware. I can teach all the equipment used for recording such as interfaces, including MIDI, ASIO, firewire, USB. Microphone operation )caratiod, condenser and ribbon). Acoustic treatment of recording room, mic placement techniques. * Formal Education: Music theory and Piano I and II. Playing in bands for 18 years Performing Experience: Iplayed in bands through the 80's and 90's. I played keyboard and guitar in the 80's and bass in the 90's. I owned and operated my own sound for 2 years. I provided sound for bands in the downtown Corpus Christi bar scene. Experience Teaching: I have taughtbeginnerguitar lessons for teenagers. I also showed them how to operate their equipment properly. I gave bass lessons for beginning to intermediate bass for teenagers. All of this was in Corpus Christi.
