I have been playing the violin for over 12 years. I began playing in 6th grade at the age of 10 and continued to play throughout high school. I went on to receive a Bachelors of Music in Violin Performance from Texas State University. My teaching style is best described as patient and understanding. As long as a student wants to learn I will do my best to teach them. I believe playing in tune and accurately is very important, but I also believe music should be fun! In my lessons, you can expect to learn how to play notes in tune along with other techniques to improve your playing. I primarily teach classical music, but I can also teach pop songs.
