I have been a student of music for 12 years. My musical influences include Kings of Leon, The Killers, U2, Elevation Worship, Planetshakers, Hillsong, and I also enjoy mountain biking. My teaching style can best be described as laidback yet progressive. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I want my students to learn in a way that challenges them each day. In my lessons, you can expect to learn rudiments, grooves, fills, tuning, proper technique, and practical application. My favorite thing about teaching is meeting new people and seeing growth in my students. My favorite performance was with my old band Refuge, in Houston, Tx.
