Later, I continued studying, becoming very interested in punk, alternative, and metal music. At the University of Arizona in Tucson, I studied classical guitar and music theory, as well as piano, voice choral and solo, composition, conducting, and minored in Spanish language. I am fluent in Spanish thanks to my Cuban father speaking Spanish with me since childhood. Later, I traveled North America and Europe, attending music festivals and studying for eleven months in Vigo, a city in northwestern Spain. I returned to Tucson in 2019 and finished my master's degree in music theory, and moved to East Austin in 2023 to pursue a career in music full-time. I currently perform in town as a solo classical guitarist, performing both classical music and arrangements of popular tunes. Furthermore, I compose original music.
