During her college studies in Piano Perormance she found her gift in teaching and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Education. She enjoys nurturing minds through music and expanding up and coming pianist. Formal Education: Fisk University; Music Education Degree. Private Education: Merit School of Music, Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestra, Columbia Youth Music Program, and Fisk University; studied Music Education with a concentration on Piano Performance. Performing Experience: Performances since the age of seven until now including: Dusable Museum, Chicago SYmphony Orchestra, Nashville Steinway Gallery, Merit School of Music, Graduation Ceremonies, Beasley Academic Center, King College Prep H.S., Accompanist for Choirs Opening Convocation, Church Events, and Fisk University. Experience Teaching: During highschool I began giving piano lessons to young children and tutoring peers in music theory for two years. While in undergrad I continued tutoring young children and peers of other music majors taking piano as a minor instrument. I also served as the music theory tutor.
