Nanny And Tutor Available For Summer Position (with Potential To Extend)

Responds within a few days
(1)
My name is Cam (she/her) and I am looking to work with a family as a tutor and nanny for the summer! This year, I worked as an academic tutor and nanny for a pod comprised of 3 families in Los Alamitos. I helped all (7) children in the pod navigate their daily assignments and asynchronous homework for elementary and middle school. I worked to reinforce age-appropriate social and emotional development through biweekly wellness lessons. Before helping the pod, I worked as a part-time nanny for a family with two children in Los Altos. Would be a great fit if you are looking for someone who can provide tutoring, specifically in English, reading, and writing, as well as childcare. I can care for children ages 5+, and I am comfortable caring for up to 4 kids independently. I am aligned with positive parenting and gender-affirming practices. I am empathetic, compassionate, non-judgmental and will give your child(ren) a safe and secure environment to thrive.

Cameron (Cam) worked for our family for a few months before our kids started preschool. 2 days a week, 8 hour days with a 2 & 4 year old. I can't say enough good things about her. My kids LOVED her! She was so patient and kind with the kids. She made healthy meals and spent lots of time outdoors with the kids. She took them to the park and to the nature center. She wore a mask while she worked during Covid which made us feel really good and she was great about hygiene. We still use her for date nights and the kids get so excited when she's coming over.

Personal Babysitter And Nanny

(1)
I'm Bri and I'm finishing up my last semester at CSULB for a degree in Health Science! I have recently stopped nannying a 2 and 6-year-old, that I have been watching for the past year and a half, since they are getting older and no longer needing me as much. I've babysat quite a few kids ranging to 11 years old, as well as twins, and my grandmother ran a daycare out of her house where I helped out. I speak English as well as understand Spanish and I can help kids with homework, prepare meals, provide transportation, and whatever else they may need! My favorite days are taking kiddos to places like the beach, park, nature center, aquarium, children museums/gyms, or just on walks or bike rides around the neighborhood! I'm available Tues, Thurs, Fri and occasionally on the weekends! I'm also willing to do light housekeeping, pick up/drop off, laundry, school help, errands, and other tasks upon request. Please reach out if I sound like your ideal fit or if you'd like to know more!

Yes Bri was and is hands down one of the best nannies we have had! I wish I keep her with us! She was always on time, sweet, and immediately got along with my 2 children. She texted me while she was out with the kids and then again when she returned home. I could always trust her and could count on her to always help out when needed. Anyone would be lucky to have Bri as your nanny or sitter.
