Hi! I am a stay at home mom who offers care to a couple of children in addition to my own 3 year old daughter. I believe whole heartedly in the individual attention and comfort that being in a home environment provides. Our days are spent learning through play, reading, pretend, creating and exploring our world outdoors. This is not a pulsating day care center that is constantly loud and going, going 24/7. This is a home. We also enjoy some down time to snack, relax and nap. I have been babysitting since I was 12 years old. I have always had a natural rapport with children. I have never met a child that doesn't respond to me. I really understand kids and make it my business to make sure they know they are loved, understood and appreciated for being uniquely, wonderful Them! I have been a mother for 19 years. I am also a former teacher at a Mommy & Me program where you learn through play and music. I was a very popular teacher there whose classes filled up immediately. I believe that young children learn through having fun and enjoying their environment. I am always signing, reading, and just plain fun. I give all children in my care plenty of eye contact, one on one attention, hugs and love. I serve lots of fresh fruit and healthy, kid friendly meals. My home is very safe and chock full of games, dolls, trucks, make believe dress up, books, and fun! We love to be outdoors. I have a swing set, sandbox, water table, chalk, bubbles, sprinklers, ride on toys and a park around the corner. My backyard is totally fenced as well. I am a very warm, loving, patient woman who will be a friend not just an employee. I like for families to feel a part of our family and home. If I am caring for your heart and soul all day, you should absolutely feel welcomed and able to come on in, anytime you please. If you would like to talk further with me or have some questions, please don't hesitate to ask! I am always hopeful to build relationships that are mutually beneficial. Thanks for learning about me.

I have been a DCFS licensed home child care provider for the last 25 years. I truly enjoy being with children of all ages and watching them develop in stages. I believe that children are little people with a voice and need to be understood in their language. My biggest reward is when a child comes back and says "look Auntie Nancie I did this/that or I can do this/that." It is rewarding when children that I have cared for stop by with a school report card and show me how well they are doing in school. The motto and name in which I run my day care "Building Blocks for Tots - Where we build on to your child's future."

My name is Jill Johnson and I'm extremely excited and grateful to hopefully work with you and your loved ones this year. My goal is to provide childcare for families of teachers or those with a schedule compatible with the school year. My passion for early childhood education began as a love for Social Work. I graduated from Southern Illinois University in 2006 with a Bachelors. Following that, I worked briefly at Aunt Martha's in Joliet, focusing on advocating for runaway youths. I put my career on hold once our family started growing. My husband, Jared, is a Firefighter/Paramedic with the city of Naperville, as well as a CPR instructor, and all around handy-guy. We have four children: Son, 12, and daughters, 10, 8, and 5, who will be in half day Kindergarten. When our youngest started preschool, we took a tour of the new facility and I just fell in love the creative vibes, the open spaces, the excitement and curiosity in the faces of the students. It hit me like that- I need to be part of this world, advocating and exploring with our youngest people. I attended JJC to complete my Early Childhood hours and further DCFS required online courses through Gateways. In addition, I became CPR/First Aid certified. My best training (aside from parenting my own kids) came from teaching my amazing preschoolers. Under the wing of my director, I gained a world of insight. I also relish in communicating with the student's families about progress and what works best for their child. The child, however, is the greatest teacher. I believe in individuality regarding intellectual, social, emotional, and physical development. Each child should always feel safe, comfortable, and trust their caregiver. I strive to see the child as they are and use what makes them them to navigate learning and growth. I see myself as someone always willing to communicate, the successes or concerns, so please know I am here for your family, approach me without hesitation. When your child(ren) is in my care, I take it to heart the same way as my own children. I am here to protect, nourish, create moments of joy, and instill a love of learning through play.

Happy Baby Daycare

24455 Tufton Street Plainfield, IL

I provide full-time/part-time daycare in my home for infants and very young children (ages 6 weeks -2 years old). I have been providing daycare in my home for the past 12 years caring for children from infants to elementary school aged -including infant twins. I myself have a teenage daughter and son who have both babysat for family and friends. I did work at a public daycare center last year primarily in the infant room. I will take care of no more than 3 infants/children on any given day. I really enjoy taking care of babies and know that parents struggle with leaving their very young children in the care of others. I am here to work with you to make the transition to daycare as stress free and comfortable as possible. Your baby will be taken care of in an environment that is safe, secure, and happy. Feeding, diapering and napping schedules will be followed to your desires or I will work with you to figure one out. I have a room setup as a nursery in my home with many baby items. Please call to talk to me or set up an interview 630-254-6134. I am so excited to have a few babies to care for.

Kyrstin's In Home Child Care

My name is Kyrstin and I currently hold a bachelor's degree in Physical Education for grades k-12. I just moved to Plainfield with my husband and my two boys, who are 4 and 2. I am certified in first aid and CPR for infants and adults and I also hold an in-home child care license through DCFS. I offer an educational and loving environment for all children. I am just getting my daycare started and currently have two full-time openings. Because I have my two children, I only plan on having 2 other children full-time and possibly 1 child part-time. I feel that keeping my daycare small is necessary to give all children plenty of one-on-one time and attention. If you feel my daycare could fit your needs, please don't hesitate to contact me!
