Welcome to my in-home daycare in Beaverton for children ages 0-5! I currently only have openings on the weekends. I'm passionate about providing a fun, safe environment for children to learn and grow. I am a positive role model, as I do not ever use swear/curse words, drink alcohol, smoke cigarettes, or take any other drugs. My childcare is run in a loosely structured way, allowing children the freedom to engage in tasks at their own pace. Creativity and critical thinking are encouraged. Here are some of the activities I do with the children: reading books, listening/dancing to music, walking to the park, playing developmentally appropriate games, coloring, and tutoring/helping with homework. This child care facility has no cable TV (but we do watch a DVD occasionally). Please be aware that I don't provide transportation services (picking up or dropping off). You can pay me hourly, daily, weekly, or monthly--whatever works best for you. Please contact me to ask for my rates. I look forward to hearing from you. If you use care.com to send a referral to me, please check your spam folder for my e-mail. Thanks!

My name is Anne and caring for kids is my passion. I run a small group (up to 5 kids) daycare in a brand new home, which was specifically built with the needs of a day care group in mind. My daycare is licensed with the Oregon Department of Education and the Oregon Background Check Registry. I accept kids ages newborn - 4 years old full or part time and offer extended hours from 6:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. If you have special requirements or odd schedules please don't hesitate to talk to me, I am always open for creative solutions. I do not only make sure that your children get plenty of exercise and fresh air. I also focus on healthy nutrition serving a second breakfast and a nutritious homemade lunch. After nap time and some more outside activities in my fenced backyard I serve a healthy snack, often fruit and/or vegetables and sometimes we reward the whole little group with some homemade cake or cookies. I am very punctual and reliable. If you entrust me with your children you can rest assured that I will provide the best and most professional care possible. I look forward to speaking with you about your children's needs. Please call 503- 503-799-7763 (mobile) or send an e-mail to anne@annestoddlercare.com.

I call myself an old fashioned babysitter but the terminology now is day care provider. In other words, I go by whichever name you prefer. I have a small group of children (usually 6 or fewer depending on day and time of day) and have great times. I have a large completely fenced in yard with loads of activities both inside and out. Including monthly crafts. Meals and snacks provided. CPR and all required classes done. I have been providing care for 30+ years and love it. They love me and we have a great time. Parents think I am really good at what I do and are always letting me know this which just validates that their kids really do enjoy the time they spend here. Also all the smiles, hugs and kisses the kids give me on a daily basis confirms their love for me and my love for them. ***My weekly cost is $150.00 per child, per week.

Speaking from experience, I know how difficult it is to find good quality care. Someone who will offer your child the attention and nurturing that he/she needs. Since most of us work long hours, we are counting on our provider to fill in the gaps. That is where I come in. When you leave your children in my care, rest assured they are with family. Carrie's Fun Care is so much more than a facility. We are made up of 15 families who's children spend time growing, laughing, learning, creating, loving, and so much more throughout the week. In the two years, I have been in business, I have watched the same children blossom off one another and build such an amazing bond. It has been such a wonderful gift that I recently became certified so I could work with my preschoolers and prepare them for the year to come. Our days are packed with a structured daily routine that incorporates: ** Proper nutrition- I am part of the USDA Food Program which encourages healthy eating and lifestyle. I buy a lot of fruits and vegetables for our meals and cook a lot of chicken and fish. **Creativity- Kids are very visual creatures, so we have a great time playing with puppets, dancing, singing, painting, etc... Art is big fun with us. **Good values and hygiene - Having manners is very important, as well as good hygiene. We are raising tomorrow's adults, so please and thank you are the bare minimum! We have a routine of brushing teeth in the morning and after lunch and always washing our hands when we are finished in the honey pot. ** Exercise- Staying fit is very important. I personally try to run between 5-7 miles per day. Taking my kids out on a walk (rain or shine) is never a problem. Plus, its the best way to learn about the seasons, plants, trees, rocks, insects, etc. ** Relaxation- No matter how big or strong, everyone needs some personal time to rest. It helps us to stay strong and healthy. Plus, it makes it so we are not so grumpy. **Learning- Oh... So many ways to learn and have fun. Everyday we do our basics... spell our names, practice our ABC's and numbers, go over the months and days of the week, practice our fine motor skills through writing, using scissors, and crafts. We read books I provide and some the library lets us borrow. We truly have a jam packed day. ** Field trips- We not only offer a date night every other Fridays for my parents to go out and have fun. A few times a month, We take the kids to fun places that are educational.

Hi, I am the owner of Little Feet Preschool. I run my program out of my home that has a separate preschool area. This gives children the comfort of still being in a home setting, but also the feeling of being at school. I have been running my business for over seven years and truly love my job! I have 3 of my own children, ages 7, 9, and 13. I follow an accredited preschool program through "Fun Shine Express". I believe learning should be fun and engaging so that children can grow to be eager learners! We do a lot of fun science experiments and hands on exploration. We also love doing arts and crafts, cooking, and music. I also offer transportation to dance classes at Encore Preforming Arts twice a week. Please feel free to give me a call with any questions! Thank You.

North West Advance Camp

North West Advance Camp is a new opportunity for kids and teens to experience the freedom of discovering their true potential with the guidance of our incredible camp leaders. We believe everyone has the potential to be great at anything but in order for us to be great at something we must be aware of our options. Kid's always get asked, "What do you want to be when you grow up?" They will either take a wild guess, intuitively know, or admit they have no idea what they want to be. We believe the best way to help kids discover what they are capable of is to show them by allowing them the freedom to explore their options with safe association. We demonstrate to them what it's like to network with others in order to make great connections that could open up doors of opportunity for them later down the road when they are thinking about what college to go to and what scholarships to apply for. Many times it's not what you know but who you know that can get your foot in the door. It also has a great deal with who you've become and the only way to become is by real life experiences. We take kids on a journey. Whether it be a... beach trip, a helicopter ride, horseback riding, painting, trying a musical instrument, visiting historical places or simply sharing stories together about what we just learned... All of it is an important part of the process of discovering who they are and who they want to become. When it comes to quality interactions you can trust that we give it our all! We understand that every child is very unique and we take pride in our high standards of ensuring every child consistently gets the kind of care and attention they need by keeping groups small and personable. We always keep a 'growth mindset' here at North West Advance Camp, meaning, we are always looking for input and ways to improve how we operate. Families are thrilled to see their children get ahead of the ball so we dedicate our time and efforts to help your child develop people skills, self-awareness, belief in themselves and competency through special out-door challenges, activities, events, suggested books, and visual demonstrations. Your child will be sure to come home with lots to share!
