The program that I have found to be most successful is prepared and generated by an individual with her PHD in Early Childhood Development. I have used this program for a number of years and found it to be the most successful. This program is used nation-wide by both public and private child care facilities. I am a member of the USDA Food Program through Contra Costa Child Care Council and we offer balanced and nutritious meals including breakfast, lunch and snacks. Safe clean equipment is provided for all ages of children such as: porter-cribs, infant equipment, outdoor play equipment, and lots more. We supply baby wipes, blankets, bibs, wash cloths, towels, bottles, cups, dishes, utensils, and any additional equipment that is needed. Bedding is laundered weekly. We provide a stimulating atmosphere for your child to play and explore with many different toys and equipment that enable children to use their imaginations, learn motor skills and develop muscular control using materials and equipment such as blocks (various types), toys (all age levels), music, books, puzzles, stacking toys, easels and art. We encourage physical skills in a large completely fenced in yard with swings, many toddler size slides, climbing equipment, toddler size tree house with a castle, and riding toys. We help to develop children's self-esteem by learning to get along, to share, and to respect themselves and others. There will always be supervision, security and independence while insuring reasonable and consistent limits. Children will learn responsibilities such as putting toys away, washing their own hands, clearing table of utensils and cups, and putting away bedding after nap time. We guide and encourage the older children to help younger children with responsibilities which promote kindness toward others. We provide potty training assistance for children who are ready for this big step.
