At Zari's Preschool & Child Care (with 28 yrs. experience and teaching certification) we strive to provide a secure, happy, and enriching environment that responds to today's growing need of working parents for the kind of excellent preschool / childcare that fosters peace of mind. Our belief is that family is the strongest influence in the child's growth and development. Our preschool/childcare extends the child's home experience and provides new and different experiences of value.
Growth occurs in developmental stages and each stage must be offered, encouraged and supported. Our preschool/childcare environment presents maximum opportunities for cognitive development, discovery learning and an awareness of cultural diversity.
We work to make each day a happy learning experience for your child by including opportunities for socialization, group play, reading aloud, dress-up/costume time and arts/crafts. Our program is based on the knowledge that children learn best through play and active hands-on development. Using developmentally appropriate materials to stimulate and explore their potential is our goal. Our program has met rigorous quality standards and is committed to communicating effectively with families.
Our preschool/childcare hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
All of our meals are homemade and approved by the Contra Costa Child Care Food Program to ensure your child will get the proper nutrition his/her growing body needs.
