Hello Everyone, I have an In-Home daycare service. I have always loved caring for children. When I had my son, I had a horrible time finding someone who I thought would love and care for him like I did. I understand Mommas how difficult it can be to send your little one somewhere and be stressed all day if they are doing okay, so I want to offer a place where parents can be stress-free and know their little is doing well and happy and loved!

Katie L. says "I think I do an amazing Job with the Littles!"

We provide educational activities throughout the day and all year round. Our teachers have a combined teaching experience of 30 yrs between four teachers. Of our four teachers, two have their CDA, and one has an associates degree. Our Mission Statement is as follows: To provide a high quality, age appropriate learning environment that will encourage and promote children's educational growth and development. We strive to be partners with parents in the care and education of their child. We believe that learning experiences should be positive and child directed. Children will be encouraged to participate in the classroom and be praised for his/her accomplishments. Through interactions with staff and peers, children will make progress in the areas of social/emotional development, communication, motor development, cognition, and self-help skills. Our educational directives are based on weekly themes related to the children's current interests. Our projects, circle time activities, and discussions are related to learning various aspects of the theme. We provide multiple learning experiences related to the weekly theme to incorporate different learning styles and developmental levels. RATE: We charge $95 a week for ages 3- 6 and $100 a week for age 2 or children that are not potty trained. We do accept State Child Care Subsidy. HOURS: We are open from 6:00am to 5:30pm Monday-Friday. MEALS: We participate in the Child and Adult Care Food Program. We do family style dining, where children learn to serve themselves. Becky's Child Development Home

812 South Barrett Avenue Sedalia, MO

In-Home daycare
Becky's Child Development Home, has been a business of mine in Virginia Beach, VA, (for Civilian and Military Parents) in Sumter, SC, registered with the State of South Carolina and I've recently moved to Sedalia, MO where I will have 4 daycare openings that I want to fill. (I'm excited to get started again!) My preferred ages are 18 mos - 5 years old, ONLY because I like to teach, work with crafts, play games and various activities that require the abilities of this age group. I do serve AM Breakfast, AM Snack, Lunch, AFT Snack. We also have nap time right after lunch. I provide cots/cot sheets and a blanket for each child. The children do Not have to sleep but they do need to lay quietly on their cot so the other children can rest. We stay pretty busy most of the day so normally they all fall asleep after everyone settles down. Many of a parent has said to me " I know my child will not take a nap" and usually once they get use to our daily schedule they are the FIRST child(ren) to go to sleep! The parent always says to me "I can't believe they took a nap!" I just smile....once they get into the schedule they look forward to nap time, Story Time proceeds nap time most days and that makes them tired, if the day is a fairly BUSY day Story Time presents itself after nap time We also work on COLORS, SHAPES, and NUMBERS we also discuss the WEATHER. I try to keep it interesting! I encourage PLAY, it teaches children to learn from one another and to learn how to get along together as a group, then when they are ready for school the transition is not as drastic for them. Kindergarten teachers love what my daycare children know when they arrive! Below it asks for Parking Options, I do live on a WIDE street and parking on the street is available but I also have a Long Driveway where you can drive up in to drop off or pick up your children. I do have a SIGN IN and SIGN OUT sheet, parents must SIGN IN AND SIGN OUT there children each day that they are cared for. Have questions please give me a call at (660-851-0314) I have been background checked and fingerprinted in Virginia Beach, VA for the Military Daycare, and through Norfolk, VA Social Services because I was a Foster Parent for 10 years, and again when I was a Daycare Provider in Sumter, SC and was a registered Daycare Provider in South Carolina.
