Little Professors Preschool not only provides a safe, nurturing, and welcoming environment, but we also provide a structured, academic, learning environment that prepares children academically, behaviorally, and socially for their kindergarten year. A typical preschool day includes calendar, name practice, recess, writing, literacy, math, choice time, art, and music. We approach learning in a fun and unique way through music, art, hands on activities, story telling ,and so much more. We use research based curriculum, and focus on each individual child to meet their specific academic needs. We also offer extended care from 6:45am-6:00pm. We have highly qualified teachers who participate in continued training every year. BRIGHTWHEEL APP: Little Professors Preschool believes communication between teachers and families is so important. I call myself an old fashioned babysitter but the terminology now is day care provider. In other words, I go by whichever name you prefer. I have a small group of children (usually 6 or fewer depending on day and time of day) and have great times. I have a large completely fenced in yard with loads of activities both inside and out. Including monthly crafts. Meals and snacks provided. CPR and all required classes done. I have been providing care for 30+ years and love it. They love me and we have a great time. Parents think I am really good at what I do and are always letting me know this which just validates that their kids really do enjoy the time they spend here. Also all the smiles, hugs and kisses the kids give me on a daily basis confirms their love for me and my love for them. ***My weekly cost is $150.00 per child, per week.

We are a non-profit that runs a family cooperative playschool program for children 18 months to 3.5 years old. Our mission is to empower families with resources, such as parenting workshops and social opportunities, and to build community among our participating families. Our playschool focuses on social and emotional skill building, and introduces children to the preschool setting. This is a cooperative program and works best when one parent is not working or has a flexible work schedule. We are not a school or a daycare. This is a community venture and requires your time and engagement. Children attend 3 days. Parents work one shift a week, and drop off 2 shifts per week. Families also have 2 hours per week of committee work and attend monthly parent meetings. A parent coach works alongside parents every shift and provides a consistent face for the playschool. We are open 5 days a week from 9am-1pm. The program enrolls up to 20 families, with a 12 kid maximum attendance on any given day.

Care Member says "We have been part of the Pea Pod community for one year in the preschool group and are about to start our daughter on her second year there. We have...
