Our day may involve apple picking, story time at local libraries, a visit to the zoo, going on a nature walk, painting, climbing a tree or hanging from a tree branch, sewing, baking, bouncing a basketball or kicking a soccer ball, cuddling in a rocking chair while reading a stack of books and the list goes on... This is the perfect age to instill a love of learning through physical exercise and adventures. Life is great and children are awesome! A little about myself... I played sports in college and have a degree in health education. My children were also Ivy League college athletes. Everything I have done in my life has involved teaching. I have been a mental health counselor, a teacher for disabled children, stayed home with my own children to teach them in their early years, a preschool teacher then began my own home day care business 11 years ago.
