Lauren Happel

45 Montage Ave Palmerton, PA

Hi, my name is Lauren. I ran a child care center out of my home in Easton, PA from 2013 to 2016, at which point we relocated to Palmerton, PA. I would like to offer child care services to a few families local to us now. I was a Radiologic Technologist for over ten years prior to starting the day care center. At that time, I wanted to be home more with my 7 year old. She is now 19 and I have a 1 year old boy and 3 year old girl, as well. My medical background has provided me with CPR, first aid training, and experience. I will be offering child care in my home only. It is a clean, safe space located on seven wooded acres. We have chickens, rabbits, and goats that would be a daily part of activities. I like to play, teach, and learn so children will be actively engaged throughout the day. We spend as much time as possible outdoors. References can be provided upon request.

We are a licensed facility and meet all of the qualifications required by the State of Pennsylvania. Your child(ren) will be given quality care with thorough attention to safety, health, good nutrition and wholesome growth and development according to age and needs. Objectives: 1. To guide the child toward the development of personal values and group values (helping the child understand themselves and their behavior, developing a good self-concept, making wise choices, sharing, cooperating, getting along with others, becoming an independent individual.) 2. To provide opportunities and experiences for fun learning and skill development in a cheerful atmosphere and to challenge the child and develop an enthusiasm for learning. 3. Our school is committed to the well-being of each and every child. In order to provide a safe, loving and stimulating environment, we expect a certain degree of cooperation from each child and parent as well. Enrollment: World of Wonder will accept all children ages 6 weeks to 12 years of age. World of Wonder has an open admission policy and serve any children without regard to race, color, religious creed, sex, age, disability or national origin. Admission is based on a first come, first served basis. In the event that all spots are filled, we will maintain a waiting list. Drop in service is available. Because of the lack of schedule, you must call in advance to see if there is room. A file must be maintained at the center for every child enrolled regardless of the number of hours. It is the responsibility of the parents and the center to see that all forms on file are kept up to date after enrollment. Forms need to be signed every six months and the parent or guardian of every child is required to update forms as information changes. Accident insurance is the responsibility of the participants, parents or guardians. World of Wonder Preschool & Childcare Center carries liability insurance.

My name is Rose Lindor. I am a Registered Nurse with my Bachelor of Science in Nursing and certification in CPR & First Aid. I always had an innate desire to care for people and over time, this desire gravitated especially towards children. Over the past couple of years my heart has been yearning to provide a fun, loving, and healthy environment while challenging children s learning abilities. As a mother of two beautiful girls, I understand how important it is to give children great care as well a structured learning development. My goal is to provide fundamental education and care for children and toddlers, with a motherly touch to the daycare system. My mission is to allow for parents/guardian to fulfill their goal with good hands and a warm heart, but also have the opportunity to accelerate their educational growth and learning capabilities. I am currently taking interviews, please message me to set up time. Bring the whole family, you won t regret it. I look forward to hearing from you!

I provide safe, loving care for 2-3 children in my home. I have three children of my own (school-aged). I home-school my independent 10-year-old so have him with me all the time. My prior work experience is in the social work field and in college Student Development. Lots of reading books, free play, dress up, pretend, drawing, listening to music, playing outside or going for walks, playing games, visiting with friends. I believe kids need to use their imaginations, and I facilitate this through providing creative toys for free play and organizing structured activities as well. I like a busy, happy, lived in feel in our home. We live in a quiet neighborhood, have a fenced-in backyard with a swing set and toddler/preschool aged play equipment, and are in walking distance of two parks. We do not have any video gaming systems in our home, and TV viewing/iPad time is very limited. We are a pet-free, smoke-free home with no adult TV viewing during the day. Cleanliness, health, and safety are priorities in my home. I have a valid driver's license and current Child Abuse and State Police Clearances. Rates are $5-$15 an hour. I do follow federal and state tax laws so you might be able to claim the Child Care Tax Credit. First interviews are held in a public location for the safety of my family. I look forward to meeting you and seeing if we are a good match for your family. Please let me know what your specific needs are and we can see if we are a match!
