Fun And Loving Sitter/Nanny!

Hello, I'm Teagan and I live in Lake Villa, IL! I am 21 years old and I have had experience babysitting/nannying for 9 years. Working with children is what I adore! I have experience with kids from ages newborn - teen. I am CPR/first aid certified and have had experience with multiple children and families since 2012. References are available upon request, as well as my resume if needed. Creating fun activities and crafts is one of my favorite things to do, as I prefer crafting and outdoor activities over screen time. Some extra things I have been required to do include driving to practices, cooking dinner, helping with housework, and tutoring. I love working with children, and want to continue to after college! Being as I am in college, this would edge more towards a summer job, myself being available from May until mid-August. I look forward to hearing from you and being able to help out with anything you may need on top of childcare!

Teagan was with our family full-time for 2 summers. My kids were ages 7, 10, and 12 during the first summer and they had so much fun with her that they were very excited to hear about her return the following summer. Teagan is responsible, punctual, respectful, friendly, and is easily personalizes her approach with the kids based on their various ages. She is great at coming up with fun activities that she and the 3 kids could do together (tag, making friendship bracelets, art, crafts, laser tag, trips to parks or beaches, etc). There was always a lot of laughter with Teagan here. She has a way about keeping the kids entertained and she has a great sense of humor which the kids enjoyed. If not for my kids outgrowing the need for a nanny/full-time babysitter, we would have her back without hesitation!

Hello! I am a child care provider with 13 years of experience. I have worked with a wide range of families over these years providing quality child care, in addition to raising three boys of my own. Between my experience as both a child care provider and a mother, I believe I have acquired both a skill and knowledge base that allows me to provide quality care. Due to having a 4-year-old that is not in school, I am looking for someone who is accepting of the idea of me watching their child/children in my home. Looking forward to hearing from you!

I would love to give all the mommies a peace of mind, when it comes to selecting Lauren as your nanny. Like most new moms I was extremely nervous about hiring a person I didn't know.I interviewed 4 different nannies and they just didn't give me the peaceful vibe. My final interview was with Lauren. Lauren explained she would have to nanny from her home, I was reluctant, but willing to give it a try. She invited me to her home (which turned out to be in the same subdivision as mine), so that was a plus. I talked with her a bit and was able to explore. Her home is immaculate to say the least. My son J. took to her right away. Lauren started watching J. when he was 6 months and he's now a little over 2. Her attention to children detail, wants and needs are unmatched. All the kids in the subdivision love Lauren. She is known for her outgoing personality, acts of kindness and generosity. I would recommend her a million times over!! Not only did I find a nanny, but a life long friend

Qualifications:
I am a professional early childhood educator with 3 years of experience working with children from ages 0-6 years of age in a center-based setting. I am an approved family care provider and licensed from the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) with a capacity of 8 children. I am also pursuing an Early Childhood Education degree from College of Lake County. To date, I have completed 38 credit hours of Early Childhood Education.

Philosophy:
My name is Anna and I am a proud Champions teacher! I believe that children are precious and a blessing and that makes me feel that my work is meaningful. To me, great teaching looks like creating a sense of community, and so I'm doing my best when children are enthusiastic about learning and socializing with their peers and their teacher. I know that providing children with lots of love and care is the best way to help them learn, prosper, and respect each other and so every day I work very hard to instill wholesome values and positive experiences in children's lives. My approach to teaching is respecting children because experience has taught me that respect is important when working with children. I understand that children will make mistakes, so I always make to encourage them to keep trying. In my classroom, I create an environment that is entrusting and respectful, because I want children to succeed. I take pride in being warm, loving, and having a nurturing personality to make it easier for children to approach me with any curiosities they may have. I believe that relationships are paramount, and I work hard to establish long-lasting relationships. When it comes to curriculum, I think that it should be engaging and fun, and so I make sure that kids in my program are excited about learning. I love teaching because I find it personally fulfilling. Some days are harder than others, and when things get challenging, and in those moments, I am motivated by the smiles of the children. When all is said and done, to me, teaching is everything, and that leaves me feeling accomplished and joyous.
