Part-Time Babysitter/Nanny Available

Avg response < 9 hrs
I am from Huntington, WV, and over the past 8 years, I have gained close relationships with the families I've had the opportunity to work for. I hope to make more new connections in my hometown since I've recently returned from college. I own a small business making pottery, so my schedule is pretty flexible. I have a few Red Cross Certifications including Babysitting, Lifeguard, Wilderness First Responder, CPR & First Aid. For about 2 years, I taught gymnastics to children ages 2-16. In the summer of 2016, I worked at an all-girls camp in Asheville, NC for 5 weeks where the age range was 4-15. In downtime I may have with your children, we can read books, do art projects, play board games, do puzzles, go on bike rides, play outside, or even go on an adventure to somewhere else in town. If there are any chores you would also like for me to do while I'm babysitting, just let me know! I have experience with children of all ages, special needs, & multiples. Feel free to ask for references!

Maggie is babysitting/nannying for me right now. She is always on time! Maggie is reliable! She never misses and is always on time. She is creative! I will show up, and she will have the kids drawing or working on a project she ordered for them to do! She takes the kids to the pool or to play with friends! I highly recommend Maggie and will continue to use her for hopefully years to come! She also watched our house and cat while we went away for vacation!

Nanny Services Or In-Child Care Home

Avg response < 1 hrs
I started out in 1998 working at a small day care in an infant/toddler room in Latham, NY. Thus began my long life passion to work with young children. I worked there for two years and left when I gave birth to my daughter in 1999. I then decided to go to HVCC and worked full-time as an assistant-teacher in the infant room where my daughter attended as well. We were responsible for up to four infants at a time by ourselves, which I remained in that potion for a year. I was then offered a head toddler teacher position for five toddlers, what an amazing experience. My family moved to Ballston Spa in 2002, so I chose to leave and find a job closer to home. I joined a Head Start program where I stayed until 2008 as an assistant-teacher in the UPK program! My father on March 2008 grew sick and I chose to move to Potsdam NY in August to care for him throughout the remainder of his days. In October 2009, I found my first nanny job on Care. com for 9-month-old triplet boys. I also care for their 7-year-old who has Autism after-school and days off for 10 months, until I had to move back to Ballston Spa to be closer to my mother who was sick. I found a position as a nanny for three school aged girls in Clifton Park, NY. When I was no longer needed a year later I posted again on Care. com and found an amazing family to work with who had 2-year-old boy/girl twins in Saratoga NY! We did everything from, going to the library, playing at many different parks, walks into the woods, sleigh riding in the winter to the children s museum as well! We kept busy and they started SIS on 2013. I am presently Head of House at a small center where I am responsible for two head teachers and 12 children ages 0-3. I started there in August 2013 and currently and left to have my son August 2014, I am seeking employment as a nanny once again part time or full time as where I can bring my son as well, he is 8 months old. Thank you! Angela
