My name is Ruth. I am 60 yrs old. After being retired for a year, I'm looking for something to keep me busy. I have 3 grown children and 5 grand children under 6. I miss my kids dearly and Care. com helps me fill that void a little. I am very active with my grand children and will treat your children the same way. I have sat for over 15 families through this site and quite a few call on me on a regular basis. Because I travel to visit my family, what works best for my schedule are as needed jobs, date nights and back up sitter positions. If you have a flexible schedule or need a back to your regular sitter, I'm happy to meet with you or speak to you on the phone if you need more information. Thank you and I hope to hear from you soon. Ruth

I cannot say enough good things about Ruth! I'm only sad to write this review because it means she has moved and will no longer be able to nanny my 3 kids anymore. In the last 14 months she was a lifesaver to our family. I have a 6, 4, and 19 mo old and my kiddos grew to love and respect her. Being a military family, and not having any family of my own nearby, it was such a gift to have found Ruth on here. She always respected and enforced our family rules, played with the kids, did crafts with them, helped keep the kids on track to complete their chores and fed and cleaned up after them. Ruth was always dependable, always punctual, always came with a good attitude and became a real part of our family. Not going to lie, I bawled when I found out she was moving. You would be fortunate to secure her for any or your family needs. She truly is a wonderful person!

Full-Time Nanny

I have been a nanny/babysitter for the past 20 years. The children under my care have ranged from newborn to 12 yrs of age. I love children and take care of them as if they were my own. I am currently looking for part-time to full time positions, I am available Monday- Friday 6 a.m. to midnight and would prefer long-term positions. And also willing to work occasional overnights/weekends and date nights. I have a clean criminal record and my vaccinations are up to date including (whooping cough, TB and Meningitis Test). I would also like to add that I am CPR certified (pediatric/adult). I live in San Diego

Enedina is absolutely wonderful! I hired Enedina to work as a nanny in San Diego for my 3-month old and it was easily on of the best decisions I've made. As a first-time mom, I was initially nervous to leave my baby in another person's care, but from day one Enedina's 30+ years of experience was extremely evident -- not to mention her huge heart. She's unbelievably gifted with babies and her knowledge on child care (safety, napping, feeding, exercises / activities, etc) is unmatched. She created a safe and loving environment and completely poured her heart into my child for the 6 months we had her with us. My child absolutely beamed when she walked through the door each day! In addition to the complete trust I have in her to care for my child, she is such a joy to be around! We loved having her in our home. She was always respectful of my parenting decisions but offered helpful wisdom, advice, and tips whenever I needed it. I cannot recommend Enedina enough!
