If you are looking for a responsible, flexible, loving and fun child care provider, look no further. I love to spend time with the kids in my backyard, take walks in the neighborhood, and take trips to nature centers and the zoo. I am active and engaged with the children under my care, whether it is playing games, reading, making arts and crafts or singing (off-key) and dancing. Additionally, I am available for full-time or part-time child care, and do not require any time commitment. I can usually provide last minute drop-in or back-up care. I have been continuously certified in CPR and first aid for over 10 years. Although I have experience with children of all ages, I am not equipped to care for older children in my home. I typically watch one infant/toddler and one or two preschool aged children, but my clientele changes every few years as kids go off to preschool. Please note that I currently have only 1 opening and that preference will be given to a full-time infant. FAQ: Extra diapers, wipes, medications, and extra clothing may be stored at my home. Drop-ins are accepted on a case by case basis. Meals and snacks can be provided for a small fee. Naps and mealtimes vary based on current clientele. Generally I can work with the schedule you are using at home to provide consistency. I do not charge for cancellations. I do provide care for sick children on a case by case basis. Parents are expected to bring a change of clothes and appropriate outerwear for children. Bug spray and sunscreen will be used as necessary- parents may supply their own if they prefer.
